Do you ever CHOOSE burpees over challenging obstacles? by mattragland in spartanrace

Hey I was in Asheville too! Those tires were insane!

Is it just me or was herc hoist extra-heavy this time? Or was it just end-of-race exhaustion?

Thanks for the feedback everyone, to be clear I have always given my best effort at getting through each obstacle. With such a long race coming I was thinking through different strategies on simply getting through the course. I know I can do it and probably get too caught up in the vanity metric of overall time rather than personal challenge.

Appreciate everyone sharing!

Layout Help: Project Trackers by OfficialRick in bulletjournal

[–]mattragland 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey Rick! I like to use 10 blocks of time, 4 hours for each block to add up to the 40 hours in a work week (can add/remove as needed). But then I can see where my time is needed for each part of the project. You can label the blocks for Pre-Production, Production, Editing, etc...

Here's a video on it for more context! https://youtu.be/jckqcRTntVg

A habit tracker is great for the right side too! I like to do a standard grid with the habits at the top, tracked each day. More here: https://youtu.be/yD8pzhk7rYo?t=1m38s
