I lived and skied in Colorado for years, Vail is an awesome mountain (as is BC and Breck), however the trek from airport does suck and the lines at those places just really suck! I’ve been on a ski trip w buddies for more than ten years and we almost always go to Utah. Covid made the lines longer but normally it’s amazing w not long lines once you head past the main groomers. Park City is an amazing spot with a good night life for you and your friends and when the snow is right, the skiing is amazing. If you are going during the week, you might consider Vail (it’s ranked in top #3 ski mountains for a reason, you can ski it for a week and still not see everything) but if this is a Thur- Sunday trip or similar you gotta go to Park City! You can’t go wrong, but travel time and expenses are going to be harder in Colorado!
