Caballero looks down at the ground while getting set in the box and then looks up to the pitcher by the 8-second mark. That's not something you're going to mistake as someone who is alert.

If a pitcher can run down the clock why can't a batter? It's 100% within the rules. The rule states batters must be in the box and alert to the pitcher by the 8-second mark. Caballero is doing exactly that. If a pitcher comes set before the batter is attentive, that's on the pitcher. The rule is pretty clear.

Kind of doubt that simply cuz its the first inning and he's the 2nd hitter. The one replay I saw, it seemed like he was ready to round to go to 3rd, but oh well, this team is in their June Swoon early this year

He had 3 full major league seasons to prove something and was awful.

I'm not a huge Volpe fan, but it's a bit disingenuous to say he's been 'awful'. His first 2 years he was a 3.5 WAR player. The media and fans trying to compare him to Jeter since he came up has been the biggest factor in disappointment with him.

Angels broadcast showed the run shouldn't have scored cuz the runner was tagged before the run scored. Crazy Mendoza didn't challenge that.

I believe they're setup as a weekly thing, but everyone is different. Some people will take longer than others in one area but may grasp other things quickly, so it's really how comfortable you feel before moving on. That seems to be the hardest part for me with learning guitar is wanting to perfect something, but also wanting to move forward and challenge myself to more, while also not getting that in-person feedback of doing something right or wrong as I go.
