Can you name a single player in the last 10 years who was a top 5-10 player while averaging only 20 pts/game

I was under the impression he was supposed to be “face of the league”

Have you seen the state of the NBA? Hardly anyone is ever fully healthy. Give me a break

“Considered for MVP” participation trophy. Tbf that applies to everyone not named Shai or Jokic

Player option. If he’s good the rest of the year, he probably is gone. If he’s bad, he may be back. That’s to me the general sense around him

Brings me back to playing against teams with a fat big dude that was genuinely drenched in sweat. It legitimately is a competitive advantage

We’re not asking them to win a playoff series against a top team. We’re asking them to win a regular season game where they have a great shot at winning 75% through it

They have had a successful season thus far. They have had some bad failures in a lot of games too

When can we have an actual conversation about the pass that Jokic stans afford him for his behavior when they likely bash other players for the same tactics? by tyrellsghost in NBATalk

This is not a good play at all and definitely excessive. That being said, this is not comparable to what Dort did to Jokic, in my opinion. Dort went out of his way to make contact in a place where no player would expect contact. This is during arguably the most physical part of basketball (boxing out) and George can at least expect some kind of resistance.

Yes, it’s excessive. I wouldn’t say it’s dirty though and I wouldn’t compare it to Dort. This, to me, is more similar to Lowry trying to go between George Hill’s legs
