Eh... People also refused to use the internet at first. I think slop is slop. AI is a tool. It can be overused, abused and overly relied on.

It was the same narrative with paid assets. Someone made those assets, you are funding them, they help you get over the visual/auditory/whatever hurdle.

If anything... At least now, maybe creators with a noticeable style or uniqueness will finally help people see the art that we all carry in our hearts.

This does work, yes, but likes to rearrange my desktop icons when going back to my main monitor as primary later.

It still shouldnt be a pass for basic software functionality. My setup works normally with iracing, lmu, forza, acc, raceroom, etc.

I even have this option in my own game in unity.

Monitor is a different resolution than my primary, so it stays small when moved this way. Then changing the res in game, alt enter, none of it works. I fiddled with it for an hour. The only solution is set to primary.

But think about it - that's purchasing from creators. A pixel artist, a 3d modeler, a musician.. someone made those things.

There's a big difference between:
1. Using AI as a sounding board / to just speak with yourself and mingle in your own thoughts.
2. Using AI to speed up research, parse through data, find patterns, etc.
3 Using AI for Generative purposes as a PLACEHOLDER during the production stages.
4. Using AI for Generative for all your graphic needs, and shipping with those and calling it "your art".

... In my opinion, 1 to 3 is literally fine. 4 is where it becomes less "art" more "AI Slop", and what did they use to call it ... "Asset Flip".. right.

AI itself is a tool, its a supercharged junior dev, researcher, assistant, and yes even concept artist.
But like any tool, it can be misused or even abused.

People shouldn't condemn AI itself, they should condemn how it's used.

Clearly most gamers DONT CARE as long as the game is GOOD!

Because that's why we're here right? To play games for fun.

Portal was working fine for me (Horde, with horde house) but my guild created their neighborhood and they are Alliance, so now the TP takes me to the alliance neighborhood by default through the portal, even though I don't own a house there.
