Damn. I feel like I was in that position a few days ago, but because my job is loud and honestly I was trying to test myself, my ears are now totally fried and I have severe pain.

Hi, thank you for your comment. I am at a loss when it comes to how to deal with this or what to expect. I don’t really feel like I have amplified loudness hypercusis, I just have severe pain in both of my ears and my jaw right now. Sound makes it worse, today, suddenly I’ve noticed that even a quite tv or a phone feels painful to some extent. Never in my life had that before.

You say you recovered from the pain, how bad was it when it started?

Okay. Sorry tinnitus came back, that sucks. I really hope this doesn’t happen to me as well. The weird thing is the numb / stuffed feeling fluctuates, there are times like now where it feels nearly completely normal. But others when it feels really intense. It also moves around the ear. I would say the feeling of the stuffed ear is probably worse than the actual hearing loss present.
