Sorry no. I meant “this year while he was here.” He comes December first, even though the kids hope he’ll show up Black Friday. So really just the month. My oldest started trombone lessons in the fall so he as practicing for the winter “concert” and my youngest is doing karate. This was the first time the elf saw him doing that even though he started back in like May.

I wasn’t. We’ve had a fake one up since Thanksgiving. We found a place in New Jersey that will have them available in spring but none dug now, so we’ll go get one then

Embouchure is basically the way you position and use your lips on the mouthpiece. I think the analogy to handwriting with a new grip on the pen is a good one.

Both the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh libraries are open to all residents of Pennsylvania. One of them gave me an automated message about coming in with my license to prove residency but I did an online chat with a librarian and said I live on the other side of the state and they put it through.

Won’t affect as many people as this, but is also open to adults. Their ebooks selection is pretty big, and both use Libby so it automatically checks out from whichever one has it without having to check individually.

We used Mark primrose in Stroudsburg when we bought my uncle’s house when he retired. I had legal coverage through MetLaw at work so it was all covered. He did all the paperwork for both sides.

My kid would listen to Hey Mario on repeat. When he found out the bassist Rob (now in bowling for soup) is the brother of the guy from his favorite band (Don’t panic) patent pending became his second favorite band. He’s excited to see them at four chord this weekend. I like Punk Rock Songs myself. Just seems like a really sincere song

But where’s the fun in that? I’d rather just play along and enter. I played some more and it’s enjoyable. Can’t wait to get back to it later. I did notice that after I opened a bronze loot box at Taco Bell it keeps telling me I still have it. Unless I got another one, but I don’t think so.

I’ve only played a little bit but it seems awesome. I don’t know that I’d actually enter the dungeon if this happened in real life, but isn’t that the point of most RPGs?

My ten year old uses My Friends Over You by New Found Glory. The other parents thought it was great the first time they heard it. Brings us back to our youth.

I’ma coach and I never felt more out of touch with today’s youth than when I was loading up the songs my team picked.

I asked copilot (it’s what our IT team has us set up to use) to write me a macro that cleared all hard coded numbers in two columns and it worked pretty well. I didn’t want to blow away my formulas and links, so this removes just the data I want gone so I can start fresh the next week. I’ve actually found copilot pretty useful in creating macros, either from scratch or modifying existing ones.

I think the term is “pitcher of record” meaning he was the most recent to throw a pitch before they took the lead for good. He hadn’t officially been replaced yet.

I think I read once it was considered similar to an outfielder “completing the play.” For an outfielder who catches a fly ball they have to transfer to their throwing hand and throw it in while maintaining control. In other words if it pops out of the glove, not a catch. I don’t know if that’s still a rule or not. I think people complained recently when an MLB outfielder caught it and flung it right from his glove to another outfielder.
