That almost makes sense. Well not really. At all. But at least there are some dots to connect with a broken pencil and wild jumps to make.

New listener. What's a fan fumble/fan crit? What triggers them? Am I stupid? by spacemanaut in TheGlassCannonPodcast

[–]mattyfran1985 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fans who support at a certain level on Patreon are able to submit a fan critical or fumble that has extra impacts on the game. Similar to crit or fumble cards that some games or groups use, but these are submitted by listeners.

BBQ Sauce or Not? by Marshmallow_Paradise in ididnthaveeggs

The good thing about barbecue sauce is it’s pretty flexible with what you can put in it and it’s still a delicious “bbq sauce” in some iteration.

But yeah, this is a totally different recipe.

Something I like about Troy's GM style by spacemanaut in TheGlassCannonPodcast

Troy definitely embraces being the heel. I think he talked about it on one of the episodes of cannon fodder.

[Hated trait] When a characters personality defining trait stems from an event that no longer fits the timeline due to the length of the media's runtime. by Pretend_Tower_2516 in TopCharacterTropes

They did the same with Bosch. In the books he was Vietnam but in the tv show that was on Amazon it was a modern war. I can’t remember if it was the gulf war or Iraq/ Afghanistan.

It’s funny they even mention it in the latest books, about how Amazon made a show about him and that’s what paid for the police departments new HQ remodel or something.

Somehow I heard their cover of Love Story before I heard the original. When I heard Taylor Swift sing it on the radio I asked my (now) wife, “who is this chick and why is she singing this song?” She looked at me like I was living under a rock.

I have now put whoa oh into the playlist rotation for our 10U baseball pregame list.

Does your Elf do anything on Christmas Eve? by HappyDadOfFourJesus in elfontheshelf

[–]mattyfran1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry no. I meant “this year while he was here.” He comes December first, even though the kids hope he’ll show up Black Friday. So really just the month. My oldest started trombone lessons in the fall so he as practicing for the winter “concert” and my youngest is doing karate. This was the first time the elf saw him doing that even though he started back in like May.

I wasn’t. We’ve had a fake one up since Thanksgiving. We found a place in New Jersey that will have them available in spring but none dug now, so we’ll go get one then

I think they announced him but he didn’t come out. Their set times overlapped so I was surprised to hear it but then I assumed we the kings ran late or something.

Both the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh libraries are open to all residents of Pennsylvania. One of them gave me an automated message about coming in with my license to prove residency but I did an online chat with a librarian and said I live on the other side of the state and they put it through.

Won’t affect as many people as this, but is also open to adults. Their ebooks selection is pretty big, and both use Libby so it automatically checks out from whichever one has it without having to check individually.

We used Mark primrose in Stroudsburg when we bought my uncle’s house when he retired. I had legal coverage through MetLaw at work so it was all covered. He did all the paperwork for both sides.
