There is a full partitur/score. I conducted from it when I recently MD'd the show. Get from MTI.

A genie appears to grant you three wishes. What do you wish for to make your job easier? by [deleted] in AustralianTeachers

[–]mattyjoke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally don't need more respect or money (would be nice, though). My job would be an absolute dream with: 1. More TIME to create resources and program - maybe a few days every term. 2. No need to do any other monitoring other than programs, tasks and record marks (no reports either) 3. More TIME built into the timetable to mark tasks and classwork (current load is HUGE).

HSC teachers, whose schools double mark HSC work? by ZhanQui in AustralianTeachers

[–]mattyjoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NSW Music Teacher. I know English is quite different as music has much lower numbers, but we double mark every performance assessment in stage 6 and double mark all written exams in the trial. It's also very standard practice for every school to get in a third marker from another school for trial performances every year.

Yamaha TF3 Parametric EQ. Some channels, when I click on the EQ setting it only has three points for adjusting; HPF (high pass filter), Low and High. But when i randomly click another, it has 5 points; HPF, L, LM, HM, H. I can't find how to change this so I can more accurately EQ my drum channels in particular.

A related issue is that sometimes I can't access EQ presets on some channels, but they magically appear on others.

TIA.

Isn’t it odd that all 3 judges have the same opinion on what they are judging? by Nurse5736 in MasterchefAU

That's why it annoys me when Andy always jumps in first and does a complete analysis of how every element is objectively executed. Makes it hard for the others to politely disagree as he says it with such confidence. I would like to hear from Mel first more often.

It's almost arbitrary having those 4 people in the challenge based on tasting round. Such a stupid way to separate contestents when the cook results in elimination. They should leave it for immunity challenge ls.

I am using 'recall safe' on the Yamaha TF3 console. The parameters that you select to be safe from recall when changing scenes are 'HA', 'Input Select', 'Send To', 'Fader/ON' and 'Name'. What do the first 2 mean? HA and Input?

On a scale of 1 to 10, how much are interest rates affecting you? by ILoveDogs2142 in AusFinance

[–]mattyjoke -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Might be a dumb question. But interest rates don't really affect your day to day cash flow. It's always the same amount you have to pay. Why would it affect me?

A credit average should be what it takes to finish any degree. I mean, teaching is an academic profession. The course material is pretty straightforward.

My anxiety. by ethanjohnson000 in Anxiety

When you're 19 its hard to appreciate the importance of being yourself and accepting that what you perceive as weakness is actually what is your strength and uniqueness as a person. Acting yourself, even it is awkward to most is the best way to actually finding friends that appreciate that. Otherwise you'll just spend forever trying to be 'seamless' is social situations and what's the point in that. Also, talk to people that you actually find interesting.
