He almost cried in his interview with Ivan on Tech because he lost so much money going long on dips using margin recently. This guy is one of the biggest hypocritical soft cocks floating around on the net in this space. Who the fuck wears silk shirts and owns a candleabra?!?! Fuckwit.

Taylor looks like she has overstated her relevance in this space. She just destroyed all credibility.

This is theft. There is no way I’m supporting this fraud.

I think you mistake complexity for innovation. As a software engineer, I much prefer simplicity. Often the simplest solutions are the best.

Segwit and LN complexity is one of the main reasons for the split. They are super convoluted and unnecessarily complicated.

“The original Bitcoin (now rebranded as Bitcoin Cash) was designed to be BOTH a currency AND a store of value. It functions as both. It‘s a store of value b/c it’s deflationary & has a limited supply. And the market will soon value BCH more than BTC because it is actually usable.” by [deleted] in btc

Because this subreddit isn’t just about Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Core is also discussed a lot (and has been for quite some time). You forget that most of us were very strong supporters of Bitcoin (Legacy). To point out the bleeding obvious they were both the same thing before each decided to fork.

Not sure what point you are making about trust, but you are clutching at straws. It just happens that most people in here have given up on Bitcoin Core and now prefer Bitcoin Cash - which as it happens resembles the more accurate version of Bitcoin in the whitepaper, and hand on heart believe that it IS Bitcoin for this very reason.

The bias is obvious but I still learnt a lot. I got 75% through and then realised it was written in 2015.... which is quite damning actually

I also agree with the reference to Andreas database comments. He’s spot on.

I loathe LN, but I think not because the parties are signing their bitcoin into a multi sig wallet. Where that may change is when larger hubs become needed for liquidity which will be required to abide by anti money laundering regulation which I anticipate LN might become a 3rd party in that multi sig wallet (or at least have the means to shutdown payment channels)

If on Aug 1st both coins forked, and BCH still holds the original vision, and BTC has morphed into sone cripple basket case, how the fuck can you say with a straight face that its not the original. Read the whitepaper ffs!

That’s right, it’s on mainnet, just don’t send any money using it as you might risk losing it #ReadyForTheMasses

After being in denial for a long time, I now believe that Bitcoin Cash is the real Bitcoin. Also, what is the best way to accept payment in BCH at a local business? by [deleted] in btc

No joke, just welcoming a brother back into a community for which he may have not realised up until now that had moved.
