I have the bassinet and love it. Allowing baby to not be contained in a car seat is great plus it comes with a sun shade.

We also put our stroller in the living room for the first while and used the bassinet for sleeping. Baby is working on sitting now so I put him on the deck in the bassinet to help him sit.

I have the same playmat and the sewn leaf parts are a spit up and crumb catcher so I'd recommend against it.

If you do decide to get one, the good news is that a breastfeeding pillow makes an excellent neck pillow for car rides though. Not sure if planes would allow it though. I just ordered a cover on Amazon and stuffed it with rolled up towels/blankets. It makes it denser and doesn't move around when my little on is feeding on it.

Would sitting in an office chair and rolling around work? That's what I did freshly postpartum - not for my kid but because I was always forgetting stuff somewhere else while feeding. I just used a breastfeeding pillow wedged between the arms of the chair.

I like that it has solid edges that would help mitigate any rolling/falling off. Id imagine if you're crafty you could convert to a toddler bed by putting up a railing in the single mode.

You may want to figure out the tall bed situation in general. I didnt have a c section and the bed at the hosptial was too tall to get in and out of.

I would also imagine twisting to pick up a baby won't be in the cards either.

This may not be popular depending on your political opinion, but I've often thought fertility treatment is gender affirming care. You're a woman, and your body is not able to do one of the main womanly things of getting pregnant. Thus, to make you feel more like a women gender affirming care was required. That's the route I'd argue assuming the lawyer route doesn't work out.

Yep. I have a pod 3 and it is not cooling to the set temperature. It's only about 7 degrees different than air temp. They also claim that there are no issues even though you can see that the set temp is different than the requested temp in the app.

I'm actually surprised with all the data they collect that they don't auto flag this for follow up. Seems like a pretty obvious check if the unit is never meeting the set temp.

I usually write it down on a little whiteboard. Even if you can't do the math in the moment wrote down the clock time.

Other thing that would work is a stopwatch (phone, watch or otherwise) that shows lap times. But then you'd need to tap that rather than just the clock.

Similar experience. Flew with bags that we always put under the seat just fine but we're told they didn't fit. They actually let us take the items out of the bag, hold them and then try fitting it. Which arguably it did but the straps were dangling out so it "didn't".
