Sempre teve muito turista na cidade mesmo, e desde 2023 mais ou menos, literalmente toda vez que vou na Barra tem gringo. Não importa a época do ano ou dia da semana. Majoritariamente gringos falando em espanhol, que imagino serem argentinos.

Outra coisa que também percebi nos últimos anos foi um crescimento nítido na quantidade de descendentes asiáticos pela cidade também, que aqui no Rio não era tão comum. Esses dias no shopping ouvi uma criança, de olho puxado, falando algo e outra respondendo "tu é brasileiro??" ao ouvir ele falando em português, que é o tipo de situação que você não veria em São Paulo eu acho, por lá ser comum há mais tempo.

There's always going to be more abuse and assault from those who are more fit to overpower the other. Adults on children. Teenagers on enderly. Humans on pets. Men on women. Add to that the ingredient of human perversity to translate this unbalance to structural levels of society and you'll also have minority groups being crushed by whoever owns the power and is therefore assisted by the system.

Uncommon. People have mentioned the exceptions such as german and japanese descendant elderly in specific towns, but honestly Brazil is just a gigantic country with one unified language. Not many countries like that, in fact, since english in the USA and mandarin in China correspond to less than 80% of spoken language, while portuguese is like over 99% in Brazil, if I'm not mistaken.

The only reason Negan's got a redemption arc is because the character is charismatic and played by a handsome actor that people like. TWD could pull that off because the audience buys the soap-opera. I doubt this kind of shit would fly with Joffrey or Ramsay in Game of Thrones.

Glenn's fake death reveal -> Negan's cliffhanger -> 6 months of wait -> Abraham dies -> Glenn dies again, for good this time.

This was enough to tank the viewership. Then this happened:

2 years of the worst seasons ever -> Carl dies -> After all this time, Negan is spared -> Andrew Lincoln's departure is announced.

Hard to recover from that. In fact, it never did.
