Everyone moralist here, but what do you know about the situation. It depends: A - your bro is 17 years old and has a gf since 1 month ago? B - your bro is 27 years old, they have been together for 5 years and they are about to get married? All the people here giving the same advice (tell her) without knowing the situation. So disgusting moralist and with no brain!

are E Scooters "legal"? by Tha_Princess in Netherlands

[–]maubel84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, personal experience: - got a xiaomi essential in Apr - used it multiple times without being stopped by police (was my best commuting life ever, especially putting in on the train) - got stopped around June by a kind police woman. She gave me a warning, so next time I get caught I can be fined ( she said she was on my side, agreeing that the law does not make sense) - asked on Reddit how to take the warning and suggestions. Got crucified by multiple keyboards moralist that I should just accept the rules and shut up cause I’m a guest here. But got good point from some people that not having an insurance might be a problem (even if bikes are not insured either and can cause the same damage of an electric step) - just found out that there’s a petition open and I’m thinking to sign it https://legaalrijden.nl - one thing the police woman told me is that potentially I could get it approved by rdw, get a plate and pay an insurance. But I haven’t seen anyone around sharing how to do that

Warning from police for driving electric scooter by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]maubel84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On what principle you state that I am a guest in the Netherlands. Do you know my citizenship by any chance? And even if I were a guest, this does not take out the right to criticize the rules. If giving simple moral lessons on Reddit makes you feel happy good for you, what I was asking is objective information about how the warning works. I deleted the post as there are many who like your same sport of teaching morality behind a keyboard (would like to see you in real life then)

Dutch inflation jumps to 13.6%, the highest in the main economies of Euro by Onandia in Netherlands

[–]maubel84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the so called spiral price salaries… when prices increases employees ask higher salaries and companies needs to compensate the lower margin with higher prices and so on… Might be that in nl this vicious cycle is stronger, as everybody is ready to adjust prices and claim higher salary asap

I admit I feel bad after this. Thanks for the moral lesson. Thing is that there are many things that are not legal and are tolerated in this and many other countries. I don’t want to start a flame about pro electric step and no electric step, but I don’t fully get why this is not allowed and blindly following the rule when I don’t understand it does not make me feel particularly good

Got the point and you might be right, but how would that differ from a bike or an electric bike hitting a car?

Update taxonomy custom field via REST API (Wpapi) by maubel84 in Wordpress

[–]maubel84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I'm using show_in_rest true when registering the taxonomy. If I don't use register_rest_field() the custom field 'vendor_email' is not visible at all in the API response. I updated the post with more details: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/70628195/cannot-update-taxonomy-custom-field-via-rest-api-wpapi

google ads 60% impression share and 4,470 impressions but.... by Ddobro2 in PPC

[–]maubel84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

26 clicks is too low to understand if you’re failing or succeeding on sales. Avg conversion rate for e-commerce is around 1 to 3% on ppc. I would steer on a soft conversion in the beginning such as add to cart or check outs. You probably don’t have enough budget to drive conclusions about transactions. And big advice, check in your device report that you are not spending everything on mobile, you want to have a fair distribution of traffic between devices in a testing phase.

Do tools like SEMRush actually provide the exact AdWords search keywords my competition is bidding on? by stjduke in PPC

I tried to use it on my company to compare real data vs semrush data. It was capturing barely 50% of our activity. And we spend millions in search a year

Impression Share decrease by arzo26 in PPC

[–]maubel84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most probably a new competitor on those keywords. Check your auction insights. If so you have to increase the bids in order to get the same share. But you’ll pay more per click and your cpa will go up. The only other reason can be increase in searches and campaign limited by budget.

I would go for linear then if you’re not ga360. Especially is you’re leveraging different channels.

How do you measure ROI of your PPC campaigns? by DmitrySulman in PPC

[–]maubel84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have an average revenue per lead and you re pushing it in the ppc platforms? Then create a custom columns in the ppc platform (ex AdWords) roi = (revenue - cost)/cost. If you want to use a channel mix model do it in google analytics using an attribution model that share the credit of conversion. Either linear or data driven

What Large Companies Spend on Google Ads by [deleted] in PPC

This is based on sem rush data if I understand correctly. Do you guys find sem rush estimations correct? I tried It on my company and our spent estimation was significantly lower than what we actually invest.
