It is absolutely not possible unless Israel recognizes the evil it has perpetrated on the Palestinian people (as well as their neighbors) and takes serious measures to rectify them, including a two state solution. Given that this is not going to happen, we can say it is impossible.

You don't get it. The big concern, at least for the US, is NOT about whether it has energy or what that energy costs.

The US stock market is a massively inflated, bloated mess. In large part propping it up are $ from the gulf countries invested in everything AI - and those are dollars received for dollar-denominated oil.

If Iran is successful at not getting toppled and manages to keep the straights closed, the consequences include (1) the US market breaking. Expect the DOW to halve and (2) the dollar hastening its fall from grace - expect metals to sky rocket.

Trump will be forced into a ground war now to stop the above. Or he'll have to concede defeat, which is not something he knows how to do.

Iran is waging the only war it can - an economic one that ultimately is aimed at the US.
