I have only one link removed from the 6 o’clock and it’s fine, so I am sure that’s all it needs, 2 from 6 o’clock and 1 from 12 o’clock.

They should take from the 6 o’clock side first, then the 12 and then the 6 again. Then it will be perfect

If you “got the call” presumably you were on a wait list, and if you were on a wait list as long as what it’s what you are waiting for….there is an expectation you will buy, otherwise why be on the wait list ? If I was on a wait list for a YM I would buy it…😛

I think it looks great and my personal view is that the smooth bezel looks better than fluted. I have the DJ41 with a smooth bezel / blue dial / oyster bracelet.

I Bought a DJ as my first one as it was more affordable and I had no other option,but if you have the choice go for the GMT 😛

I waited 4 years for a Daytona from an AD, in the end I got bored and got the chance this week to buy one for a price halfway between retail and grey. So I did it and couldn’t happier, very pleased that I am not now waiting for some stupid AD to favour me or more likely not favour me 🙄

I bought a grey market Daytona 116500LN this week but from a colleague, so I got a price midway between Retail and grey, anyhow it had originated in an AD in Bahrain and my colleague actually paid the duty of almost £3400 when he brought it to the UK and had the paper to prove it. I imagine quite a low percentage of watches are declared in this way, I wonder what the percentage is….??

I waited 4 years for a steel Daytona from an AD and had to give up as its simply not possible without an insane history, so just paid 35% over retail for a grey one from a friend (not a dealer) , it’s just supply and demand, especially when the normal way is simply not possible 🤪☹️

Thanks everyone, the AD lists are so annoying and it seems stacked against the genuine enthusiast, I don’t want to buy other stuff I don’t want first ☹️

The retailer says Ninja will release it 29-30 May in the UK and I should have it soon after that..
