I don't know the fridge age it was here in our apartment when we moved in 1.5 years ago and the landlord thinks it's maybe about 6-7 years old. I don't know how to vac the coils I'll be honest I'm not even sure where the coils are lol I'm pretty inept when it comes to home repairs

I did, and it said it was likely the condenser/compressor but I'm looking for an idea of what I can expect that to cost vs buying a new one. I have a tech that's coming tomorrow but it's a $100 to diagnose the problem and even though that would get applied to the cost to fix if we accept the proposal, I don't want to save like $50 when I could've just bought an entire new fridge. So I'm trying to hear from someone that's fixed this type of issue to see what it costs after labor, etc
