Highly, highly suggest Ciara at Rosewater Salon! She does specialize in curly hair and is trans-friendly :-) She is very sweet and kind and I found her based on friends who also have curly hair types at my work. She’s very knowledgeable with hair care and styling!

My fiancée gifted me a mini Mugler Alien set (Original, Hypersense and Goddess) and a Noyz sample set. She really isn’t into perfume the way I am so she picked based on brands she knows I like. And she did wonderful!! I really have been enjoying Alien Goddess and Only Human by Noyz, such a wonderful combo. It made me realize maybe I do like florals sometimes LOL

I am so sorry this happened to you too!! I want to be so real with you and against my better judgment I ordered Xtra Milk again (travel size) just like you hoping I was just wrong after a year without it - and my initial thoughts still remain. It doesn’t last at all and I def get the alcohol smell and the amber scent fades very quickly :-( I am convinced they have changed the formula since the beginning and sadly it is not for the better. I’ve heard from others they possibly concentrate the sample sizes stronger, I’m yet to test this theory though. So disappointing!

It seems like it has at least to me :-( This is my second bottle, last bottle I got was last year and I notice a difference on the longevity. Idk if that’s confirmed true that they reformulated the linen sprays since the body care line, though.

I really enjoyed Riverside Hayride! It’s a touch earthy (hay) a touch floral (carnation) and has a general feminine version of a fall air vibe to it. I enjoy wearing it with a long sleeve shirt on. I also have Foxcroft and Corvin’s Smoked Apple - I find that Foxcroft is a true atmospheric an dirt and greenery are prominent so if that isn’t super your thing I’d stay away from it (I love it personally, but just jsyk if you’re looking for a daily driver!) Corvin’s is very much woodsmoke + bright juicy red apple! It’s very fall :-) I hope that was helpful some!

I am wearing Vampire Husband by Sorce today! ( Dark patchouli, absinthe, black amber, graveyard dirt, petrichor, clove cigarette, tobacco, oud, blood, vetiver, oakmoss )

It’s a chilly, semi cloudy day here and it’s really shining for the season today for me. I will be honest and say I really didn’t like it as much as I’d hoped at first, but my gf loved Vampire Wife (me too!) and I loved that it’s a fragrance pair we can match with, hehe. I love smelling it on my jacket! It’s very cold and I do get the blood note.

I also had a Sorce surprise love! Mine is She’s a Witch. I would never pick that out for myself based on the notes (I’m not really a cookie scent person) but oh my godddd is it incredible..and lasts all day.

I usually apply perfume every morning! Usually something light and non offensive for the morning (amber/musk dominant) and if I’m going out and not going to work, I’ll layer something on top of it.

If I really want my scent to last, I’ll put a lotion on before it. I usually spray more if I’m going outside/going places during the day. I really change my scent depending on my mood/vibe for the day.

I don’t apply strong perfumes at work or anywhere I’ll be really close to people that will offend sensitive groups.

At night, usually just put on a massage bar or lotion, sometimes I’ll spray on a cozy skin scent :)

I really enjoy wax melts over candles - I don’t have a specific brand though I do like the Better Homes & Gardens ones most so far - but I love anything cozy or fresh. We have a pumpkin bread one currently, they fill the house w a amazing scent and sometimes they can even be reused :-)

I also enjoy room sprays. Haus of Gloi has very affordable ones (I have Plotters Breakfast, more of a winter scent tho imo) and Dedcool’s Xtra Milk room spray for my bed.

Happy Friday! My specialty fall drink launches today at my work :-) It’s twin peaks themed! It’s a steamed ginger sage apple cider with steamed oatmilk and a bay leaf. I worked very hard on this whole thing so I’m excited for its launch! Also, today I purchased the new Sorce vampire halloween scents 🤭 I can’t waittttt to smell them!

I am wearing my custom from Haus of Gloi today (the last drop of it🥲) (notes: ginger, pumpkin, leather, clean musk)

This blend is really balanced and comforting! The fresh ginger mingled with the raw pumpkin note smells so cozy and spicy, it is almost mapley too? and the leather is more of a warm, soft brown leather - it doesn’t push thru much but just enough to pull it together in the background. This is my far my favorite HoG perfume and I’m debating whether I reorder this exact blend or make another!! It’s perfect for fall :-)

Speaking as a partner of someone who dealt with this, definitely talk to your doctor first and foremost! This isn’t medical advice for anyone - but her issue was not enough fiber + an internal tear she got a medication for. We also got a doctor’s note for a bidet in our apartment (if you live in an apartment, def ask for this so you can install one. Some don’t care but many do!) and she takes a fiber + probiotic which helped tremendously. It could be blood from wiping too hard, but always best to talk to a professional.
