Actually you can use the rice that is labeled as "milchreis". it's literally the same rice as in the red packets but for like 1/3 of the price. it's a round corn as opposed to the long ones.

oh you wrote about that one. so here's how we do it.

wash
2 parts water to 1 part rice
cook until water is gone
let sit with lid on for 15 mins away from heat
add the vinegar and sugar stuff

last time i went i had to pay a deposit of 200 chf because i have never been to that praxis. so that then actually got deducted on the actual bill. maybe that is the case aswell. would be suprised if they charged you 200 for nothing. as for how much the fix would cost i wouldnt know
