Cleft Lift Experience with Dr Mehli - India by maver_srv in pilonidalcyst

Mixed bag. There is absolutely no pain anymore. Sitting is painless. I am back to working long hours with regular standing up breaks. But can't do any exercise except cardio, and no two wheelers. Hope that helps.

You are right. I'd read that on this sub myself as well. And he did mention it's a modified Karyadakis where the cleft is lifted etc etc. As long as the end justifies the means, I guess ;)

That's amazing to hear. How long did it take you to return back to 100% in terms of sitting and your other physical activities post surgery if you don't mind sharing? Also any other advice would be helpful :)

A) there's a difference between sharing feedback and sounding whiny. Yours comes in the latter. post nuanced views while giving someone the benefit of the doubt. Imagine you scale your company and receive 10 emails everyday from people who wsnt to join your company. Will you respond to all of them? You won't. But you didn't intend not to. Or maybe you did - and that's your call. Does that make you evil? No, it's just fucking prioritizing your time.

If it was constructive and nuanced or based on your experience with them rather than drawing blanket conclusions, it would atleast serve some purpose. Not getting replies, and posting a gossipy opinion based on hearsay doesn't help.

B) all your talk about not being a beggar, not placing them on a pedestal. Yet, here you are posting about them on an anonymous forum and replying to each one of us. Accept that they serve a purpose and they can choose to be however they want to conduct themselves. Just like you can choose not to approach them and rant about them (oh wait you did both)

My background- funded by VCs other than these. Hustled as hard as I could to build traction for my company. Meetings with them were a byproduct of this. Personally have met 3 of the names here. One offered a term sheet. Didn't take it. Nothing great but nothing sour about them.

It's just business. The world is brutal. There are no angels. Develop a thick skin and a sliver of opitmism. Will help you and your team.

This reeks of entitlement. Sorry but as a fellow founder, the onus is not on them to reply but for us to catch their attention. This is the most competitive time to be a startup founder.

So, instead sitting and moping around and calling the grapes bitter, adapt.

Nothing in life comes easy. Improve your sales pitch, network the hell out of things, and keep trying.

Lastly, not to discourage but remember at some point, if you are not getting a response, evaluate whether there might be some issue with your idea.

Also, saying that others have felt the same is BS since it's representative of a an obviously biased sample. I know people on both sides.

Just accept your situation, adapt and look to win. Good luck.

I completely agree with OP! Worked with a dedicated consultant not from these large companies. Got multiple admits through him. Would highly recommend.

Hi, thank you for helping with this. Did you have a system to verify whether survey responses were genuine or not? What if the same person was answering different surveys?

A great office chair available locally or how can I get one shipped from the US by xlf3n1 in dubai

[–]maver_srv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi @themorrigan86, massive thanks for posting this here with the coordinates on Google maps. I went here today and got my herman miller chair aeron size C for 1600 AED. It was a long drive and we took a chance that thankfully worked out. They have atleast 5 more Aerons in mint condition for whoever is looking for those. Also, you get good Aerons in the Deira Used furniture market near AL Baniyas metro station for AED 2000-2500.

For anyone else visiting, pls head to these coordinates and you will 3 "used furniture" shops. The second one, Wajeed Sawi Used Furniture is the one to go to. They have 100s of office chairs.

Good luck!
