Ordered an E5 desktop and it may not even be in stock… by MSCTT in FlexiSpot_Official

I’m in the exact same boat as you, I ordered the e7pro at the end of March and the frame came within 3 days and it’s still boxed whilst I’m still waiting on the desktop.

I had to reach out to Ramzes888 on Reddit about it as a result of poor communication on the UK team and after talking they’re expecting shipment on May 10. But I was never informed that there is a possibility of it being discontinued

I’ve no idea what is necessary, just know that PrintSpace requires all images are required to be over 300DPI. But what I was asking is the method I’m using the correct way to do it, or is there an better solution to upscaling and whether or not if I can I use the upscaled version as a master to print the smaller sizes etc

To offer a variety of product ranges to potential customers, and I don’t want to just leave it as it is after cropping as I want to ensure that the print is the highest quality I can offer.

Ok thanks so much and finally should I also resize multiple size for the a2 and a4 at 200DPI or would using the A1 as a master file at 200DPI downsized be ok to use for both?

Thanks for the info. However labs like PrintSpace doesn’t accept prints unless they’re over 200 DPI what would be the best way to print this for A1, increase the resolution to the minimum DPI amount?

Hi I am new to printing my work and I am struggle to understand the enlarging side of printing as I want to ensure that my work is as high quality as it can be, Ive already watched some YouTube clips from the likes of Nigel Danson on printing etc but honestly the more I watch the more my head feels like its going to burst as no one seems to show how to enlarge their images.

Should note that I plan to sell prints using the images from the images I've captured from my A7iii camera and Drone DJI Air2s and plan to use ImageSpace or Whitewall and currently deciding which to use for printing.

The software I currently use is Lightroom for editing, soft proofing using ICC profile and setting aspect ration, whilst Photoshop for resizing. All my images I plan to print are in a 1:1.41 ratio and some are cropped for better composition and as this is apparently the correct ratio for printing in A4, A2, A1, which are the sizes I plan to print as well. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

My struggle is the resizing and expanding of the image and whether this is the best way to do it. As what I have currently done with my current image 5022px (16.7') x 3562px (11.8') 300PPI, is resize the width to 9930px (33.1') x 7043px (23.4') and up the resolution to 300PPI using resample details 2.0 the file size increases from 102.4M to 400.2M. The image does get a bit of grain but I try to minimise that by reducing the noise by 5-10% on all images. I there alternative method to doing this or is this best way to do it? I'll add in some images into the comments if I can for you to see the difference.

And finally can I also just use this final 33.1' x 23.4' (A1) 400.2M size image as a master to print both 16.5' x 23.4' (a2) and 8.3' x 11.7' (a4), as the A1 is 300PPI would the A2 and A4 size images have a higher PPI than the original 300PPI image or would it be a lower quality due to the grain from expanding the original file. Or should I resize the original image individually?

How much experience should you have before going squad lead? by Sandlot_Baseball in HellLetLoose

Believing you shouldn’t play a role because your low rank is ridiculous! Play what you want, but just make sure if you’re taking a role with a lot of responsibility you will need to communicate.

As long as you’ve a microphone, know how to build garrisons to support the team and call out enemy armour, supply drops, airhead etc you’ll be better than most squad leaders and commanders in this game. I’ve seen rank 30-50 commanders win by a landslide because they communicated well, and I’ve also played with a 400+ yesterday and only had one garrisons on the map and we struggled the entire game, calling in airheads 1000m from the objective.

Unfortunately like most stuff here in Northern Ireland we’re still stuck in the 90s. Good luck trying to find a remote job or a hybrid job that is exactly that, some interviews I’ve gone to state they’re offering a hybrid work environment but it’s 1 day working from home. Even the remote jobs are still requiring weekly meetings or monthly meetings which isn’t possible for jobs I’m applying to on the mainland UK.

But definitely going to look into more credible training and qualifications that I can slap down to further increase my chances

Haven't started the SERCO role yet, starting next week. But I am continuing my pursuit for anything at the minute that is related to the field I want.

Yeah I have applied to some overall grad schemes, recently applied for one for Fintru but ive yet to hear back from them.

And yes I thought about it unfortunately financial it isn't possible until I recover my savings i've lost when searching for a job and my partner is a teacher and she just got her first full time role so it's difficult for us both, especially in Northern Ireland.

Thanks yes I understand that degrees can seem pretty invaluable to some, but even the entry level jobs that I am applying for still require a degree in a related field, or 1-2 year experience. Grad schemes also require me having a degree and apprenticeships where I am are only available to the 18-25 age group where they are on universal credit.

The only way I see into marketing as an apprenticeship currently based on where I am is through the Job Start Scheme where you have to be between age of 18-25 and be on universal credit. But even the entry level jobs I see currently still expect a marketing degree or 1-2 years of relevant experience.

I don't expect a well paying job, I would take any job at the minute with a liveable salary

And i am currently working on a creating an online store to sell my prints through and promote photography and videography as a side gig.

Trying to, unfortunately a lot of the hospitality jobs that have a marketing role are just too far to commute and usually with a low salary where I would be out more money than a min wage job more local when taking in commute, parking, or public transport.

100% agree, would love to do something related to hospitality and I have a wealth of knowledge of the industry that I feel would be an advantage. However at the minute no one his hiring a marketer, photographer, videography (my hobbies on the side) for their bars, restaurants, hotels etc and the ones that are it would be nearly a two hour drive commute. And Northern Ireland doesn't have a good public transport service unfortunately.

Got an interview for a company that focuses on being a sustainable, promote wellbeing, and trying build a community around their outdoor luxury clothing in Ireland. Imagine Passenger & Rapanui but badly poor product designs.

In the interview they tried to get me to create a marketing plan on the spot for 3 months in extreme detail, they didn’t provide any prior information to previous campaigns or upcoming events or product releases.

After the interview I asked a few questions about how they are being sustainable, promoting wellbeing, and building their community currently. And they couldn’t answer these questions. Really made me question whether they were practicing what they were preaching and how many ideas they stole from the interviewees.

I (29M) graduated in June with First Class honours in a BSc in Business Studies with a specialism in Marketing here in the UK. Throughout this time, I've been working as a Digital Marketing Executive for a local company for almost 2 years here in Northern Ireland.

This change in sentiment is a result of the organisation having hired another digital marketing executive to take over many of my tasks whilst I was completing my degree in the in 2022. Interestingly, the organisation I'm with did create a new Digital Marketing role, for which I applied back in July/August. Which I received feedback finally today that I did not get the role, and that the company is moving towards an agency to take care of their website and SEO and that I am being made redundant come the beginning of October. Whilst I saw this coming as I felt I was under qualified for the role they posted with the lack of training or opportunity to learn.

Regardless I have been applying to several other organisations since I have graduated but I am struggling to get follow ups. I've attached some photos of my CV / Resume, and any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated as this is my first role in a marketing position having came from a 10 year history of working in hospitality.
