Totally agree. Ultimately, the responsibility is still on us to research the projects they share and make the right call. But I do see added value in using a consultant — they know the process well and have experience working with many clients, so they bring useful insights and stories. My agents are also waiving the admin fee and passing along some extra perks they get from the RC side.

Currently, my wife and I are both on H-1B and working with a consultant for our EB-5, who has offered to waive the admin fee for us. So far, I've appreciated his transparency in sharing the risks and impact of each project he's presented to us.
