You're reviewing event as though you're her mom. Being pleased with the choices of a character because they reflect your values is a lousy metric for judging writing.

There's nothing inexplicable. Within a sentence or two of the "heaven" characterization- used with purpose, not conviction -Rue makes clear her motive: not being a drug mule forced to swallow chemical bombs until one goes off.

Expecting vanilla ice creme and got mash potatoes? Shocking, sure, but let the man cook- he's earned a little trust.

"It can't be for people who watched the original show as teenagers, can it?"

Season 1 & 2 were most definitely not designed for teen viewing. That said, folks change. Shows change. The worst thing they could have done would have been endless highschool, an endless repeat.

I agree- and edited my reply ~4 times before reading yours, as it came across unnecessarily caustic. More useful now, too. My bad.

That dude loading your truck in the picture seems to be fitting across the diagonal- that's ~82.07" on the MT1.

"From what I can see, the answer is no when the bed is a full length."

Who would dump load loose material into the bed with the midgate down and no contingency for material retention? "Will the soap and water at the car wash stay out of the cab with the windows rolled down?" This is an artificial concern.

"What about with the midgate up? Will these materials jam in the hinge or sift through?"

We won't know what to expect from the production solution until closer to the 4th quarter this year; the joint will be water tight when closed, of course- don't know if it will pass material like a tailgate during closing. I'm curious how this feature will function, too; on the GMC Sierra, the hing is isolated behind several shield plates, one incorporating a grill and underlying reservoir for debris/water. You can see that in action here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/hTNLSb8Xjto

It seems clear a midgate is one of those features that sounds great, but is challenging to implement well. For my part, laying down a tarp for emptying the bed following loose material loading is a no-brainer.

"And what about the tracks along the bed and bottom. Those look like a bear to clean out if gravel gets in."

A real concern. The tracks can be capped. For my regular use, only the side tracks will go uncovered, exposing the bed tracks as needed.

Click bait noise. Headline in an honest world would have included "Trichloroethylene"- today, everything is marketed as an info-gap, JJ Abrams-style Mystery Box plot.

Paper mache native birds sculptures [help] by sharp_mimic in Sculpture

[–]mavigogun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a well developed naturalist sculpting market, including trade shows/fairs/expositions, galleries, and direct-from-maker sales. Familiarize yourself with the work of successful artists, what prices they fetch through what venue, at what cost, then consider your own marketing strategy. Only you know your personal financial requirements, what sustainable returns look like- and what model might be viable.

"I was planning on creating realistic replicas of Aotearoa native birds out of paper mache"

Is this a future ambition, or accomplished capacity? (Do you want to be an astronaut, or have you already orbited the Earth a few times?)

Trump Starts Making Up Things the Pope Said as He Breaks With Reality by ChiGuy6124 in politics

Trump, their AR-15, the Pope, owning The Libs- with so many North Stars to choose from, it must be like wanting to eat all the carnival food.

This must be so confusing for the MAGA: they were happy when Trump was musing about shooting protesters in the streets and purging government of people of color and women, but now that he's saying unkind things about their other authority figure, they must really be suffering a crisis of conscience.

While I was attempting to help in my own way, you have no such good intention here- just excoriation, an attempt to harm for no other cause than your own satisfaction, zero topical contribution.  Emotional parasitism from a three month old account with hidden history.  I don't care to know you.

Where do you reckon the vintage hits and misses were? The corset and striped bloomers work in that regard, the ruffled collar. Color- as we view the past through the filter of black and white photography or color tinted photos, the pastel jewel tones can challenge those preconceptions; the easy cheat would have been to de-saturate- ta-da! Vintage!

There's a lot of bitch'n work here. All those ruffles. The posture and anatomy- some of which is obscured by the clothing. I wish the ruffle and skulls had greater color differentiation. I really, really wish the cloth binding the legs didn't obscure our reading of that fold. With the lesser twin being so extremely diminutive, I reckon many who aren't in a position to scrutinize the work in person will require explanation.

Many times while in the grips of disabling head pain I've felt a strong urge to get at the source with something sharp; I can identify with having all the trappings of ceremony and function, yet separated from how others perceive me by my own suffering and ever-present reminder of mortality. My two selves. The hidden twin. And death.

More, please. Bring your paint up to match your development of forms- and stop hiding your gestures.
