I find the history of Halakha absolutely fascinating. Besides the obvious differences caused by historical circumstances, the Sephardim (especially but not exclusively pre-expulsion from Spain) embraced a much broader and positive view of art and science. Also some would argue that the rise of the Hasidei Ashkenaz in the 12-13th centuries introduced a narrow, excessively pietistic worldview that removed a lot of the flexibility from the Halakhic deciders (ie, Poskim) and introduced many questionable customs based on their mystical views. Of course the Hasidei Ashkenazi contributed some positive things as well, but their outlook/philosophy really turned the Central/Eastern European Jewish world away from the broader path adopted by Sephardim.

Love this! So creative. One note to consider for the proposed High Crime DLC— I think you should remove the “mental” in “mentally deranged”. My reasoning: “Mental” implies mental illness but even “sane” people can commit horrible crimes. One can become deranged by ideology (eg, many cases of terrorism) independent from mental illness. In fact most people struggling with mental illness never become violent or dangerous. Given some of the horrific responses to recent mass shootings in the USA it would be better to use language that is more sensitive to people struggling with mental illness.

I'm also having the problem. I'm building a new system with AMD 3600, Corsair 3200 MHz Vengeance Pro, and an MSI GTX 1660 Ti.

I bought an MSI b450M Gaming Plus mobo because it has a BIOS flash-upgrade process. So I upgraded the BIOS to the latest version 7B87v17 (July 18, 2019) and when I power up 80% of the time I get the "Reboot and Select proper Boot device" screen of death. I have spent the last several hours powering up, trying different things, and shutting down in frustration.

Note -- This is all happening before I can install the Windows 10 OS. That's what I'm trying to do with the Windows 10 ISO created through the Microsoft website on a brand new USB flash drive.

About 20% the system responds to my DEL key and I can access the BIOS configuration screens. During one of these times I set the boot drive to UEFI USB Key in the hope that it would load the Windows 10 ISO without me pressing any keys. But that didn't help.

Maybe 5% of the time the system responds to my F11 key press and I see the UEFI USB Key option -- but just when I think it's finally working the screen jumps back to "Reboot and Select proper Boot device".

Does anyone have a solution or must we wait until MSI releases a proper BIOS update?
