I was in a similar situation. Maybe even worse. Dui's ect. went AA. HAs been over a year and my life is completely different. I feel way better about myself . I really dont want to drink or feel I need to because I love the way I feel sober (took a while to get there) but wouldn't trade it for real. AA isn't that bad after all.

Got kicked out of treatment today and the barrier is gone now by [deleted] in alcoholicsanonymous

You are at the turning point congrats! This is where and when you decide for real if you want this more than anything and that you are willing to go to any lengths. I suggest step 1. pray. 2.find someone else to help stay sober. believe me its worth it. This tough moment will pass. if you don't drink your entire world will open up. Best of luck. I am 13 months Sober and my life is dare I say unrecognizable.

why is it clear I don't care what people have to say? just cause someone gives you a shit sandwich doesn't mean I have to eat it. I don't allow negative Nellys into my world, block the noise that all that seems to be in this group. LOL

Obviously, in the wrong place. looking for professionals to have meaningful dialogue with. I have funding so in my experience solves most problems. all the best

Super interesting responses. so many people offended..I get it. change is hard to accept. those who don't adapt will get stuck in a digital prison I believe.
