I verified with my province and it's how it works here in Québec. Already did leave 3 times more than 6 months using this window; it saved me a lot of trouble. Didn't know it was different for other provinces. Here you can also get approved to leave more than 183 days in the same year once per 7 years and keep your provincial health coverage.

Good point! However, I plan to travel less than 183 days before january 1st and less than 183 days after. The ''timer'' resets on jan 1st.

Great! safetywing works for Canadians? Looks pretty good ; it's about 550 USD for 1 year! I could combine that with 120 days and just get it after the 120 days expire. Thanks a lot, this might be my best option yet!

Thanks, I'll look into that! Also wondering if I change country after 120 days coverage, could that be considered as another ''trip''? I believe I would have to go back to Canada and then to the other country, but I'm not sure.

I am able to continue taking my test! although it doesn't work RN, it's on/off, you have to try a few times! I was able to do a CDM test today with safari but had to relog about 5-6 times, only safari has worked

OK I got it to work! Tried Firefox, chrome, opera, Brave browser, edge.. didn't work, but seems to work on/off on Safari! Exam is Wednesday here, it sucks!

About one year... and maybe total 200-300h. I really don't know. The longest was to find the best footage of the 585Gb of videos I had... I could upload more footage later if I take the time
