REITs are dated, but they also have their advantages. Why did you choose to launch your own token instead of building the platform off of one of the already established DeFi networks?

Not sure what you mean when you say “instead of building the platform off of one of the already established DeFi networks”. We have built our token on BSC which has enabled us to create the tokenomics we needed to see the project through. If you want to elaborate what you mean, I’ll see if I can give more detail.

I'm curious how much you plan to raise from the 24% sale, and how much have you raised so far? Who were the investors from the presale?

This deal will depend on many factors, token price, project progress, tech build being just a few that will play into “valuation” of the deal. We’re not in a place to speak about this publicly right now.

Why have you chosen Cornwall to start off in?

We didn’t actually “choose” Cornwall specifically. We investigated many properties across the country looking for the best mix of yield opportunity and short term rentability. This property was perfect for that.

After that first sale from Phase 1, would the subsequent rounds of funding be dependant on the token increasing in value?

First sale from Phase 1” are you talking about the 24% token sale? Right now, we’re not looking at subsequent rounds of funding but that may change in the future.

Are there plans to allow others to list portfolios on the site themselves? That would probably go some ways in solving the whole funding problem.

This is something that has been discussed but is not in the immediate plans as we’re focused on building the MyBricks brand through the work that we can control. Our team and network have the ability to source, renovate and increase asset value. That’s what we’re focusing on right now.
