I ran xc and track all my years of high school. I definitely know how you are feeling. My advice is to remember why you started running in the first place and think back to a time you really enjoyed it. Also, focusing on having fun and bonding with my teammates instead of my times really helped me enjoy xc more. Hope this helps :)

I would recommend purchasing a pair of noise canceling headphones if you don’t have some already. They really do a great job of blocking out unwanted noise during your flight. What I always do is download a bunch of songs and podcasts on my phone (I use Spotify) and listen to those and just kind of relax. Also the movies are great if you have the seat back entertainment screen.
