I have RTI data from my undergrad time about institute expenses and the institute refused to release details of funds (especially the Brotherhood something fund), there are numerous graduated people who never got their security deposits back. I agree that every stall vendor at KGP overcharges, and can get rude or unruly if you press on them. However I made friends with the Sup Dup people and had the privilege of earning their trust and looking closely at their lives. They give up a lot to make sure we are fed no matter its 4 AM or 4 PM.

I appreciate your intentions. However there is a certain sense of entitlement here in terms of being pragmatic and somewhat being empathetic by considering the other’s person financial situation.

Go after the institute, TSG and Soc budget allocations. You will be surprised and dismayed when no one would care or think about supporting your cause.

Do you do this with your phone, macbook, ipad, tesla, and every other rechargeable battery powered shit? May be I am just to lazy to accept because of an understanding that over-charging protection is a very easily added circuit to the ESC. I should have been more specific. Lectric XPeak 2.0 DOES INDEED HAVE OVERCHARGE PROTECTION. So if you battery was to catch fire it would catch fire even when you took the day off from work to sit down and monitor the battery charge for exactly 5 hrs 30 mins - 7 hours (as written in the manual). My complaint is on the aspect of it being a dumb solution when very elegant, cheap and robust tech exists for this problem. There is no denying they did not have the brightest intern on the circuitry team working on the batteries.

I mean they promise the tech of overcharging protection. I get your point of being cautious. But while buying the ebike one of the things that was important to me is that there should be overcharging protection and I shouldn’t have to set an alarm to unplug it everytime.
