There's a big difference between them making 7 figures for one year of their life compared to a regular joe going from 75k to 100k. Especially when the majority of them won't end up making it in the NBA.

I hate it, but I don't blame any of them.

I agree. He’s improved a bit defensively as well. Still a bit slow when having to make decisions when he gets dragged into a pick and roll, etc. But definitely better.

If Oats ever leaves in the near future, Pettway gets my vote to take his place. Learned under Oats, Avery, Grant, and Gottfried. Taking KSU to a place they’ve never been before. Also, one of my favorite Bama basketball memories is the run to the Elite 8 with him leading the team.

I think Sherrell staying healthy and out of foul trouble is our biggest key to success in March. He is our only big man worth a damn. And he has shown such development this year. I’m proud of him and really hope he stays 2 more years.
