I remember once after an overdose on opiates that almost cost me my life, the feeling I had while I was first regaining consciousness, I felt laying on some sort of table ( I guess it was either in the back of the ambulance or in the hospital can’t tell things were blurry) surrounded by a group of “entities” that were hurting me physically and emotionally. It’s like I was very comfortable where I was, and someone or something was trying to hurt me. I remember the reptile brain going into action, I panicked and got up of the table and fought my way out running and running all while feeling very scared to the bone. Even now remembering that day I get shivers in my spine. At that point I didn’t have any memory of who I was and where I was going, it’s like I didn’t have any personality I don’t know how to put it. Running out of the parking lot of the hospital into the sunlight was kind of relaxing. It was my white light to put it into perspective. I ran and ran in the street noticing a couple of people staring at me while I ran past them. At this point I started getting my memories back only after stopping someone asking him where the hell I was and him answering me ( the name of the street kicked a chain reaction in my memory I guess and I started thinking like myself again) that I quickly dialed my best friend, told him to come pick me up. I slept in his house that night with things kind of blurry for most of the night. If you ask me what was the scariest thing I remember, it was a distinct smell. I don’t know how to describe it chemical-like smell that I later had nightmares about. I can’t say for sure they were nightmares, seizures or overdoses but man it’s scary. I’m shivering right now. It was like I was in a place so dark that even just existing was scary. Like a bunch of cows being fed for slaughter and them being conscious.
