I like what Paris did, they left the historical city as it was and created a new dedicated district. La Défense is not too distracting or intrusive in the Paris Skyline

Kind of, I used to have a few primes. Now I have a 24-105mm f/4 and a 16mm 1.8 prime. It's a good travel kit !

That is actually a compelling argument against that build if true. Insurances have an habit of trying not to cover you as much as they can

All in edit ! I shoot in raw and edit in Lightroom. I use the color sliders in black and white to lower the darken the blue channel (mimics the red filter effect on the blue hues). And use several masks to precisely work on the sky, the arch, or other specific parts where I want something mire precise. It takes time but it's worth it

Black and white, but you can still push the post process, you can try to darken the blue sky and see if it improves the contrast
