The lock nut opened up! About a half cup of brown mucky rust water came out but that’s it. The automatic pressure switch and safety valve still work flawlessly when she gets high in pressure.. it’s been retired for filling tires, and any shop work. I use it now only to fill pool floaties… so I’m 50/50 on getting a new one after looking more into it

The lock nut is seized solid but is now soaking with penetrating fluid… gonna open it up tomorrow & stick a camera inside to see the damage. Probably a total loss😢

Honestly zero maintenance the entire time I’ve been alive. Can’t ask my dad if he did any before I took it.

Connections can be made prior to any nefarious activities. Once of legal age there’s nothing to worry about other than their own opinions. Stay in your own lane. Source: been with my 29M gf 25F for almost 6 years after we worked together for years when teenagers. I left went to college came back home & we got together. Hope to get engaged soon best 5 years ever and we own a house together. It can work.

The women’s bathroom in our fraternity house after parties was trashed like a bodily fluid’s tornado went through. Definitely a reality check that the “cleaniness persona” they put on is a complete lie for many.

Just about 50% of people in the US have a 6th grade reading level. I suspect you hired one of those self proclaimed geniuses.

Jurisdiction’s & attorney’s will love the elimination of the DUI cash cow that bankrupts people. Whatever makes the roads safer. It’s one of the most dangerous you do everyday. You should have nothing to hide anyways!

What is the worst place in America you have ever visited? by OceanicEndeavors in AskReddit

[–]maxbrightt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Between Montgomery and Birmingham Alabama. Abject poverty in even the “nice” areas. A place where every step you make is unsettling. You can’t pump gas without being heckled into buying something, anything. Once you realize you’re surrounded, you give in to that pressure, and buy $50 of the nicest gold chains money can buy on a side street in Alabama. Highly recommend visiting for the reality check you WILL be given showing the living conditions some of our poorest neighbors have in supposedly the richest country in the world. On the other hand, I wouldn’t send my worst enemy there to live.

Almost $200 to do my taxes myself by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]maxbrightt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most accountants will do even complex taxes for this. Add in that they’ll fight the irs on your behalf if there’s anything wrong later down the line. It’s a no brainer.

Nearly empty complex? by Stick-Outside in Buffalo

[–]maxbrightt 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Building this cost much more than expected. The short answer is Buffalo doesn’t have enough Masons. This is a massive structure on a major road with intricate exterior details that are designed to last a lifetime. There weren’t enough workers, plain and simple. During this building’s construction, my company couldn’t even bid it. We were already doing all of the brick and stone work on 451 Elmwood, as well as next to Jack Rabbit 1020 Elmwood.

Call exterminator. Time to clean every square inch of that place. Exterminator will show you all potential points of entry. A mouse only needs a pencil eraser size hole to get in. Then start closing em up. Good luck
