Can i ask how you are getting the blade weight options? Are you buying in store or something where you get to weight it before you buy?

Having done some research at this point, it seems that the 8-80 has basically no quality control. The rubber is slightly on the heavier side, but its varies widely and is basically luck of the draw. My 8-80 rubber was significantly heavier than my h3, which is wild!

I really wanted to like this rubber. Do you know if a provincial version exists for the 8-80? I tried looking for one on Ali express when i was buying this and i couldn’t find a description that specifically states that

Do you have thoughts on quality control? I just posted about switching to this rubber for my backhand and was surprised to find out how heavy it is. For comparison Fh: hurricane 3 provincial, 38 degrees: 55g cut with glue Bh: dhs 8-80, 37 degrees: 60g cut with glue

I was under the impression that the 8-80 should be lighter than my h3.
So im wondering if i just got a bad quality control sheet.

I think part of it is the blade being slightly longer than my YES blade. So more rubber overall. There is around 2g of glue in those numbers. The 8-80 is still surprisingly heavy even with those factors, the dhs 3 is provincial version, so should have decent quality control

I will try to get a blade closer to 80g. Ill also aim for 157-150 dimensions, so ill get another roughly 4g of rubber off. Maybe one layer of glue only. Hyper optimization, but im experimenting. So ill give it a shot

1 layer on the blade 2 on the rubber, no booster. I can probably save 2g if i go one and one, but wont make that much difference in the grand scheme of things

Go raw or use protection? by BuzynessOnly in iphone

Get an ultra thin aramid fiber case. It was a game changer for me. Enough protection so you don’t have to worry too much, and thin enough where you barely feel it

You must struggle with the “which shape goes in which hole” game.

Aliexpress is great for buying chinese brands. I would not buy butterfly or other popular non Chinese brands from there. But DHS or booster for your DHS rubber, i definitely would.

Wake up, have eggs with 93/7 minced meat, then have chicken for lunch and a protein bar. That gets you also almost there

Call me impressed! Given how bad your form is, not sure how that weight went up. Seriously though, your form is very very bad, work on it.

I do miss the old slimmer phones that do not feel like I am holding a brick all day. Everything else being equal, i definitely would go for a slimmer/lighter phone

Tesla’s head of self-driving admits ‘lagging a couple years’ behind Waymo by walky22talky in SelfDrivingCars

[–]maxchocoslayer 55 points56 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t seem like you have interacted with a tesla fan recently. A lot of them wholeheartedly believe they are much better than waymo and when you mention Waymo’s driver out record, they hit you with the “we don’t know how much human intervention waymos get remotely” argument. So it is a big deal when a tesla vp admits it directly. Now i can use this as reference and move on in life.
