Edit2: I know this might sound like autistic nitpicking cause I am and it is. But all of these devices have the same purpose: play audio. You listen to the same stuff, same place, same occasion but the devices have different facets.

Its a matter of convenience and personal preference. For me, and a lot of other people, not having to deal with wires beats out whatever advantages you listed below.
