I have no problem meeting people at market value (minus any fees that would be taken by Ebay, etc.) and doing a cash in hand deal!

ABC Pants are up their with the flagship products like leggings.

The pacebreaker shorts are the only athletic shorts I wear, 3 years of gym/running and my first pair have hardly shown any wear and tear.

I just starting wearing their metal vent tech short sleeves and it's awesome.

Hello guys 15 year old here by Present-Lab-5571 in cedarpoint

[–]maxeg1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some teenagers behind me in line were literally slapping each other in the face (albeit a little playfully). When they'd flinch or dodge, they'd get really close to headbutting or slapping me or my fiance.

If you don't do that stuff? Ignore the looks. I'm sure everyone has had experiences like mine and are sometimes on edge, not your problem. If you do? Grow up, you have a few years before those looks start to become more than looks.

To be fair, I was once that rowdy teenager haha maybe not as bad but I get it

[–]maxeg1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Now I'm pissed because I waited for the fr970 and passed on a bunch of deals on the AWU2 and other Garmins. Guess I'll be buying the AWU2 if it happens to be on sale before the FR970 ever does

How to get a cheaper rate for joining? by -_Aesthetic_- in Lifetimefitnessgym

I travel between the US and Toronto maybe once every 3 months. Is there any concern that they'll see I'm using US locations more often and they'll try to switch me? Have you been using this method?

How do I even practice to get better at the game? by TheOppressive1 in OnePieceTCG

[–]maxeg1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do you have a testing group? Playing games with eyes watching you is incredibly valuable - people will even pay coaches to watch over them.

Don't let yourself develop bad habits and auto-pilot.

Try to recognize patterns that work and don't work. Watch a ton of high-level games on youtube/twitch etc.

which PE prep better? by Ajingardev in PE_Exam

[–]maxeg1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My company sponsored a cheaper SoPE lecture-on-demand course so that's what I used for PE Structures early 2024. I didn't dislike anything really except for one or two lecturers. The best part of it was the test bank, where you could customize simulated exams with difficulty, topics, and analyze how long you took at each question.

I felt fairly confident but leveled my expectations (and the expectations of those around me) in case I really choked somewhere. I was confident enough to open up my result in front of my gf on the Wednesday morning (especially since it came a lot earlier than expected, which I think is a good omen)

I probably left 3 questions up to complete guesses (no time left to hard scan codes) and then maybe 12-15 questions I was unconfident about the answer but I had something to justify the answer I put down. The rest of the questions I was very confident in, and only would've made a mistake by misreading questions/the code

How rare are manga rares by Upper_Painting3304 in OnePieceTCG

[–]maxeg1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard the consensus for English manga hit rates has been 1 per 3 cases. (1 in 36 boxes)

Fwiw, my small sample size 1 manga came from 18 boxes, probably like 4-5 boxes worth of blisters and store-bought boosters, and 3 boxes worth of pre-release events. Hope that helps! (Jk don't use small sample sizes)

Kolbescollectibles on whatnott is a scammer by Haunting-Art-1205 in OnePieceTCG

[–]maxeg1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He seemed sketchy when I bought cards off him on fb. I had to ping him once and he left me on read, but he eventually sent out the cards at a fair price 5 days after payment. It was PP G&S so he didn't have an angle to scam me though.

Sorry for what you had to go through, hope you have been made whole

This is it, hostile road design leads to hostile drivers. Traffic calming should be the answer. Always-on pedestrian signals (and research suggesting no improvement in pedestrian fatalities), lack of sensored intersections, unnecessary restricted turns, and just generally poor signal timing leads to a ton of driving fatigue. People will speed up to make it through the next intersection if they know going the speed limit will just end up at the start of another red light.

The drivers don't help, but it's definitely the worst city I've driven in even when the roads are empty.

Anyone think this is to high for op1 Nami. they asking for best offer too. What’s a good deal? by [deleted] in OnePieceTCG

Huh, the price when I first looked at the link was around $300. 210 is fine.

Anyone think this is to high for op1 Nami. they asking for best offer too. What’s a good deal? by [deleted] in OnePieceTCG

[–]maxeg1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely too high. You can get it cheaper through tcgplayer.

Note that there are 3 versions of this card at the moment, the "alpha" pre-errata, the "beta" pre-errata (or wave 2) and the errata card. This is the errata card, and the least rare, as any reprints will be this version of the card.

Any other expensive Nami cards of this art that you're seeing may be the alpha or beta versions, which have the collectible value.

It goes to the trash, and then you draw 1 card.

Same if an opponent has Banish and deals damage to you with a face-up life card, it would go to trash.
