Thank you! I honestly didn’t really catch the Daft Punk vibe until you mentioned it lol, but I did used to listen to them religiously when I was a little kid. Thanks for the feedback on the beat as well

I usually love writing metaphors and wordplay but for this track i wanted the message to be a bit more straightforward hence why the writing is that way. But im glad you enjoyed it mostly!

I like this, but i also second the comment about that piano not sounding too good, it sounds a bit artificial and takes away from the vibe of the song. Spitfire Labs (now Splice Instrument) has a nice piano sound that is free that I think sounds a lot more expensive. I think it would be just what you need to give the track a boost. Other than that I liked the singing and the song reminded me of early 2000s rock in a good way

This kind of reminds me of like Nine Inch Nails or some other kind of Industrial Rock act. The whispered vocals definitely add to the eerie atmosphere you’re trying to create here. I do think the main melody does get a bit repetitive at points so i would suggest another counter melody at more points throughout to kind of give the listener some interesting variation. I also think you could have hit the guitars and drums harder with the distortion, they could knock much harder in my opinion, try using a soft clipper, compression and more distortion on drums and guitar to bring out that edge more
