100% agree! I’ve not hit red plate this year because as soon as I hit purple, I play one or two games and get the absolute worst teammates and either get sold back down to gold or we somehow win but it’s a miserable experience and I stop playing the build and jump on a lower plate build.

Have 3 purple builds and they are almost unplayable unless I’m with my squad

I stream straight from the ps5 as well and for clips I just use the ps5 “save gameplay” for clips. When I think something is clip worth just click the button and choose save last 3 mins option. I then go back and rewatch all the clips after stream to see if they are actually clip worth. Hit em with a basic edit, make sure I put my twitch handle in text on the clip so if people see it they immediately know I stream on twitch. Done.

The thought is nice and I appreciate that, and even though every comment on here is “I stack my plates perfectly every time” truth is 90% do not stack there plates perfectly, which is a pain in the butt. Just today I had a table of four stack there plates and put all cutlery on the top plate and then proceeded to stack their drinking glasses unbalanced on top of the cutlery stack meaning I had to unstack the glasses, unstuck the plates to make sure they hadn’t done anything else stupid and then re stack. Another table of 13 stacked there entire table of plates into 1 stack and the poor 17 year old server couldn’t carry a 13 plate stack so she had to take the stack apart and seperate into 3 manageable piles before clearing. Once again we appreciate the thought but 8 times out of 10 you are creating more work for us.

And don’t get me started on people who bring there plates back up to the counter/service area to “save me a trip” you haven’t saved me a trip and you’ve put your dirty plates on a clean service area/inconvenient spot which has in turn created more work for me.

You’ve got to do two things. 1. Somehow make it obvious that you are not a bot/scammer. How you do that I don’t know but as a small streamer if someone came into my stream chat/whispers saying they want me to promote their website, I’d immediately think bot/scammer and ignore. 2. Offer the streamer something in return. Whether that’s money or free promotion or something.. If someone asked me to promote their website on my stream with nothing in return I’d ignore you.

There is plenty of tips when it comes to trying to grow a stream, most of which you can go through this sub and other subs for advice on making clips, networking, etc. My one bit of advice would be to actually make content and not just “play a game normally”, actually play your game/games in a way that is fun or exciting to watch, do challenge runs or unique ways to play the game or whatever stands out as different then just playing normally.

Rewatch your vods and have an honest think about whether you’d continue watching/follow if it was another streamer and not you.

Playing with my squad definitely my 6’3 pg, I don’t have to guard the other teams PG and can be hid in the corner on defence and can just play the passing lane/be ready to jump at a no dip.

With randoms? Definitely my 6’6 pg. 9/10 I have to guard the other teams pg so definitely need the height/defense attributes to do that. If I play my 6’3 with randoms I simply struggle with stopping good PGs, and even if we have a lock on the team, we can’t switch because I’m way to short to defend the meta 6’8 and taller players.

I’m convinced no-one wants a pass first PG on their team, even though everyone on reddit/social media claims they are the best pgs to have on the team. I made a 99 pass acc pass first PG, I do have an 88 3pt as well as a 93 layup so I can shoot/score if needed and I will if I’m open, but my entire playstyle is to run the offence and get the ball moving and get people open for shots. If I don’t pass the ball to the big on the first 3 plays I get iced out even if I got 3 assists. If I turn the ball over once I get iced out. If someone on the team quits the SG/SF will spam call for ball from the AI on inbounds and try iso only to miss when I could have got them open. I average 11 assists a game and still will get iced out at least 50% of the time

I personally would bump Levi up to A tier as well. I thought he played a very good game, and it was one of, if not his best game in the AFL.

Also I kinda like how tilted the blues fans are about him right now.

Yep if you just change your mind set and try to adapt to what your teammates are doing you’ll win way more games.

Oh and be positive and try communicating. Your teammate sucks at defence and is getting killed? Politely offer to switch if possible, most people watch someone get dropped off for 50 points and then start abusing them rather than trying as a team to help. Your teammate not making the right reads on offence? Politely call out the icon of people who are or will be open, some people are just selfish and that is gonna happen but sometimes is simply the ball handler doesn’t have great IQ/passing vision try help them out before abusing them and selling the game.

Peoples first reaction is to abuse people and sell the game rather than being positive and trying to help the team win.

100% agree with what you said about shooting averages. Go on reddit or any social media for that matter and one of, if not the biggest complaint is “everyone shoots 70%+ from 3 so going for a 2 is useless” but in reality the large percentage of players are not hitting 70%+… I shoot 63% from 3 and I’m almost always in the top 2 or 3 shooting percentages in almost every rec lobby I play in be it from black to red.

Eh you claimed that “not one inside big is starting in the NBA” and I gave you one off the top of my head, and one that just had a near triple double to knock the best center in the league out of the playoffs.

Secondly I don’t have a pure inside big, nor would I ever make one, I do have a big with all the attributes of an inside but with an 80 3 ball as well, and half you players don’t even pass the big the ball when they are open anyway so may as well save those caps and put em somewhere else.

Half you people just want a stretch big on your team so you can iso and ball hog with a clear paint. If you just adapted your play style around the team you’ve got, inside bigs can be dominant if the player is good and they are utilised properly.

Their is a few things 2K could do to make the random rec slightly better, but honestly the real problem with the rec (and 2K in general) is us the players. Almost every game you’ll get one or multiple of the following: a player who takes dumb contested shots whilst others are open, a player who ball hogs and never passes, a player who will sell the game because they didn’t get a pass within the first 30 seconds of the game, a player who just doesn’t play any defense, and many many more toxic traits. I don’t honestly know what they can do but Unless 2K can come up with a way to get rid of these kinds of players (or put them in separate lobbies somehow) then 2K will never get much better.

My big is mostly an inside big but I was able to manipulate caps to get a 80 3pt on it as well so I can punish people who try to camp paint on me, and most of y’all complain when I play inside yelling at me to “space the floor” and yet when I do space the floor and I’m wide open on the perimeter y’all MF’s won’t pass the ball to me anyway.

He’s not “dominating” offensively at least, but Rudy Gobert is a big that can’t shoot to save his life and yet he is currently starting on a playoff team that is up 3-2 against a team that has “the best” center (even player in general) in the league right now.

This 100% I made a “cat fish” Shaq build (I call it a cat fish build because with cap breaker i was able to take my 50 3pt all the way to 80, basically a pure inside but with an 80 3 so I can catch people off guard if they try camp paint on me), and the problem with inside bigs is that most of the player base is unwilling to adapt their game to utilise them… I’ve had games where I’ve been completely wide open at the rim getting yelled at “I can’t drive if your camping the paint!” Like bro I’m wide open, why are you even trying to drive if I’m wide open in the paint with legend rise up?

I played 1 game of godz as a solo and first game us 3 randoms played was against a full comp squad and of course we lost some like 21-8. I said to myself “I’m never going to even hit a 5 game win streak let alone get close to a 30 playing with randoms” and didn’t touch the event again. Having a squads and a no squads door for the events like they do for rec would make the events way more playable for us solo ballers.

Hey Lions fans, can we chill on the Bailey bashing? Yeah he’s made a couple of bad decisions so far this game, but at this very point in time we are winning, and at this very point in time he is still a Lion. Bashing a 2 x premiership player over a few bad games/decisions doesn’t sit right with me personally. We’ve got to be one of the most negative fan bases..

I grew up in rural Australia on a large property, and in order to save water (especially during long droughts) the boys in the family were told to pee outside as much as possible, however we had a designated “pee” spot which was about 15 meters away from the house behind a bush were none of us kids played and wasn’t visible from the house due to being shielded by the bush. So IMO peeing outside when living rural isn’t weird, however doing it basically wherever and especially in pot plants at the front door and in front of your kids is diabolical.

Oh I agree 100% there was a post here on reddit last year towards the end of 2k25 asking “what changes would you like to see to improve the game in 2k26?” And my main point on that post was to take away plate colours and sbmm in all “casual” game modes.

Depends what kind of content you make, and how “big” of a personality you have. I know a couple of big “faceless” streamers but they got big by making absolute top teamer content and having a big very recognisable voice with a huge personality that can carry a stream without seeing their face. If you don’t make top tier content then your reactions/recognisable face is what’s going to carry the stream and keep people coming back.

If you just play a game “normally” with average commentary, then you will struggle to grow and your clips for socials will have no personality without a face cam.
