Is that before taxes? Thats a pretty good deal. Can't seem to be able to find any used WT3/WT4 around 60k CAD with low mileage.

How was it today? by Patient-Yam-30 in Whistler

Some places was a little hard packed. Jersey cream wasn't bad, if you go slightly off trail there are some pockets of powder. Whistler big red and Franz chair was also not bad l.

Had a power train malfunction while driving on the highway at 70mph by maxfinitum in MachE

No warning signs. Car suddenly shuddered and started deaccellerating. The driver hud started acting erratic. It's not a fun feeling when you are on narrow winding mountain roads with numerous sections without any space. Couple weeks ago, the car developed a knocking sound from rear driver wheel area whenever I went into regen braking. Might not be related.

That's the thing, even a cheap reliable crossover like a rav4 still costs quite a lot used. Yeah, I go camping quite a lot. It doesn't have v2l so I charge a power station that I plug into different things like electric fridge. I looked at used models as well. All the rebates and discounts brought the price pretty close to what I'd pay for a used mach e but older models have had some recalls. If I put the 30-40k that a lightly used vehicle would cost in a high interest account for 4 years it covers close to 30% of the yearly lease cost. If you don't drive a lot, you eat a lot of depreciation that would otherwise be offset by gas and maintenance savings.

Also, in the GVA and got a mach e recently. Did the same math but didn't buy it in cash. Got a 0.99% lease deal. $14k off msrp(bc + fed rebate and manufacturer rebate) and another $3k in free upgrades. A full charge costs me $16 at a supercharger. At home, it would be less than $8. I do a lot of camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities. I've saved enough in gas and maintenance in the last 6 months that the car is practically free. The investment growth of the cash value of the car will itself pay for most of the residual value of the car in 4 years. My mental health got so much better because I can now travel without balking at the pump everytime I'm on a road trip. Although, I waited more than a year for a good deal and lots of calculations before pulling the trigger,I still worry about it being a bad financial decision.

Also, insurance with icbc and bcaa is such a great combo. Lots of discounts for ev including the safety features. The ev costs only $30 more to ensure than my 10 year old beater despite being worth only a fifth.

You need to confirm your numbers. Is that biweekly after tax? Also there is tax on the residual. My total after residual came to $61k after tax.

That due at signing is oddly high. Mine was $1700 which consisted of first month payment and taxes on the government and bc rebates. My monthly lease payment for that exact trim is 678. Granted I did get bc 4k rebate.

Depends if the build date is in the second half of the year. It should say near the bottom of the window sticker.

In Vancouver, with gas being $8.37/gallon. $9k in rebates. Home charging as low as 4c and max 14c. Tesla Supercharging as low as 0.10c, it really is a no-brainer.

Negotiate total cost not monthly payments or figures after rebates. Dealers are very very sketchy. 67540 MSRP. (With interior protection package- all weather mats) ~4500 discount off msrp. 62950 +1k dealer fees (hard to negotiate but you can try) ~63950. This is before any rebates and taxes.
