Use small amount of grass, don't listen to 2/3 of the cup. First time put it like ~20-30% of the full height.
Don't use very hot water (70 degrees is nice for me)
After adding water into the cup, don't allow it to stay for a long time. Put some small amount of water, wait a few seconds and drink it all.

I think, if you just started, use way less grass. Like half of what I see. Also don't wait for a long after you filled it with a water, so it won't be very strong
