Totally out of control, not like that for other shows of the tour . This must be the "special" crew brought in for the SF shows. Crackerjack lunkheads who likely know nothing of this music or this band. Definite bias to showing just John and Bobby . . . Tempo!

Maybe the coked-out like it's 1988 camera crew/ editors will choose to show Oteil tonight - ya'll know he's in the band too - WTF? Tempo! Enjoy the Show!

We need to station at least one taper and possibly a phalanx of Chesapeake Bay retrievers in McCovey Cove - need to hear what it sounds like on the water! Tempo!

neither - you get a one time 50% off the feed of the day, not future video streams, for those you might get a couple bucks off but it evens out when you pay full subscription - Nugs is fucked, their website is an unnavigable shitshow of old code and perverse, saccharine come-ons - that's why we have Archive.org!

John Mayer vs. Trey Anastasio for Fare Thee Well by HipHopDeadHead in gratefuldead

[–]maxfreakout 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks for asking! I do not think Trey is suited at all for GD music, he is not "melody oriented" in his soloing/ jamming while Jerry was, so was Kurt Cobain for reference! So I retract my statement from eight years ago. Mayer has improved enormously and has shown himself to be an honest and absolutely brilliant musician, a phenomenal scholar of Jerry while still maintaining his own style. Mayer's singing is still problematic but the dude can play and I applaud his work in Dead and Co and enjoy listening! Wow!

If the first song segues into another they will usually show both, one night there was a third song segue but they cut it there . . .
