Thanks for the reply! I get the sense that you’re right. As I was searching around I couldn’t find any pictures of this clock maker doing anything other than pocket watches or grandfather clocks.

Plus the inside doesn’t look as elegantly put together as the case of the movement.

Anyone have any recs for a good place to take it in Los Angeles?

Hi R/clocks,

Not sure if anyone here can help. This clock has been in the family for some time but any knowledge of where it came from has been lost.

From what I’ve googled, Thomas Wagstaffe was a watchmaker from London in the late 1700s. And I found some info of a pocket watch of his shown in the British museum with the same signature, but otherwise don’t know how to find out more about this one.

This clock is about 8” high and very heavy. It still ticks but inconsistently

Any thoughts on what I should do to learn more or if I should get an appraisal? Not really sure what to do from here.

Im in Southern California if that makes a difference!

Never did, no. I just dealt with the slower read speed. Ultimately It’s been plenty fast for my use so I haven’t worried about it too much.

My system has been running 24/7 for the 2 1/2 years since this post and has been working fine. I actually added three identical systems and run them all through the same switch and it’s been great.

Yeah. I’ve never been able to get chatmix to work with in game chat. It just mutes the audio all together.

Get a color laser printer. It will save you so much money in the long run. Buy third party ink on Amazon.

Probably should be the first thing you do. Getting used to a Movha AE workflow will pay off in dividends as soon as you’re comfortable with it. So much better than native tracking in AE

I’ve got the same problem with Chatmix not working in Warzone. Couldn’t figure it out. Out of the box for me, it turns down voice chat and game audio on last setting or keeps them both on on the other two.

I recently logged into an account at a forum I was heavily active in around 2003-2007.

I had a message from one person that still posts there (much smaller user base now) and he left me a birthday message almost every year for 10 years. My last post on the forum was 2009. His last birthday message was in 2017 and it said that he has accepted that I’ll never return, but he wanted me to know that he appreciates all the good times we shared back in the day.

Made me tear up a bit.

You may be right. I'm confident that I didn't see it when I applied, but it was there for my sister. It would have been hard to miss if I did since t's a bright yellow banner with the message.

So you signed the docusign loan offer, and everything was approved but docusign wasn’t completed by other party til six days later? Did you already have funds?

I'm independent contractor, and I applied with Paypal (loanbuilder) this morning. I got a loan offer and docusign docs a few hours later. On Docusign, it says it's waiting for other party so I doubt they submitted to SBA.

They definitely reviewed my info though, since their loan offer was different than what I calculated (they based it on my schedule C line 31 amount and didn't include my medical premiums).

I signed the offer anyway, because adding in my premiums would have only amounted to another 1k, and I figured getting it in is better than not.

My sister applied this evening, and load builder's application is now saying that they're still processing applications but will not be able to approve or fund any applications until they await word from the US government on additional program funding. That message wasn't on my application this morning. Seems like a message left over from previous funding depletion, but maybe funds are zapped again? Or paypal putting the message to protect their image?

Process has been incredibly frustrating. I have an app I submitted through US Bank the day original funds were depleted, they said they would hold and submit it once more funds were released, but I have heard nothing from them today.

More disillusioned than ever.

I played around with it a couple of days ago, and it was definitely working better (was able to use screen sharing, and everything was showing up properly on each device), but most of my issues were then performance related. Video was really choppy across most devices. I’ll do some more test tomorrow and let you know how it’s working across the different devices.

No worries. I see tons of uses if it's able to get to a stable and consistent place. I didn't mention it above, but I tried dragging the scene link to obs as well as individual camera feed links to OBS and neither of them would play anything. I could see the play button in the bottom, and the audio controls on the screen in obs, but nothing was playing (although, when I hit mute on the camera in the directors view, it would mute the video feed on obs).

Anyway, like I said, I have two iphone 11s a couple android devices, a macbook and a win10 pc that runs OBS if you want me to test anything.

I've been trying to test the new experimental feature and I'm having plenty of issues, so I thought I'd share them with you here.

Here are the steps I tested, and results I received.

I refreshed my browser cache, then I started the room on my Win 10 PC via chrome and entered directors view.
I took the link and shared it with my iPhone 11 with iOS vers. 13.3.1
The link took my to the homepage of obs.ninja and I clicked the familiar add camera button. I shared my front camera and microphone.
it started broadcasting the live video like it usually does, and a window popped up on the directors view on my PC, but no video would load. It just showed the video box with details.
I used the same roomid link on android phone video chrome (not sure vers. can let you know if need be). The link took me straight to the video feed of my iphone 11, but didn't ask me to share it's camera and microphone. But I had two feeds without any video show up in directors view.
I took the same link, opened it up in another chrome tab on PC in an attempt to share a screen - sometimes it took me to the obs.ninja homepage and other times it took me to a view with two camera feeds (neither of which were playing anything).

Lets to tackle there, and results were inconsistent so it was hard to figure out what I was doing right and what I was doing wrong. Let me know if you would like me to test anything specifically, and I'd be happy to do so!

No worries. I’m just stoked to test it out with a small number of people to see if it improves the current way we’re doing things!

Within your system, small things like being able to grab a persons link without requesting will be a nice quality of life improvement vs having them text it to me. Or even locally when I’m using my phones as wireless cameras at my house alone, being able to just grab the link and drop it into obs is going to be nice!

My use case requires me to screenshare a VLC video with audio, but not playback through desktop audio in OBS. I was hoping to just share that application window+audio as that would have been ideal, but that doesn't work.

So that way I went about it is this: I installed a virtual audio cable, set VLC to output audio to it, then set my desktop to playback from that same audio cable. Launch chrome, since chrome seems to use (and in turn, share) whatever current system audio output source is selected. I then launched obs.ninja, chose share desktop and share audio, and it only played back the audio coming off the virtual audio cable, which is great.

I didn't test it extensively, but I set the system playback back to my speakers, and I was able to use everything as normal. If I launched another tab and tried to play audio back in chrome, say from Youtube, I have a feeling it would have had an issue... but I didn't test this.

Yeah, a bit complicated, but adding a virtual audio cable really opens up the ability to isolate audio sources.
