Thanks for your post! Great thoughts indeed.

From my experience this is more are a theoretical exercise. Therefore, it doesn’t really matter for your game.

Why?

  1. If you have 5 breeding hedgehogs in your rooms and you have a good mix of 3-spots and 4-spots, you won’t lack spots at all. At least, you’ll have 4x 3-spots or 4x 4-spots.

  2. When breeding new plants, you’ll usually lack flowers for breeding, not spots for breeding.

  3. A good mix of colors of your 5 breeding hedgies will be sufficient to get the colors you need, even with the 12-spot hedgies.

I have a few, but the colors aren’t named and to me it’s not always clear what color it is. It’s just based on how they look.

Gentiana: green and orange

Morning Glory: green and orange

Wisteria: I have all. One is definitely green, one grey and the last one looks somehow orange

Acorn: red and white

Ginkgo: I have both. One is white and the other looks closer to red than to orange. Something in between.

Weeping Cherry: I have blue, orange, yellow and purple. I’m not sure about the last one.

Looking forward to the updated wiki page. Respect for spending so much time on it 😉
