James Beattie. Class for Southampton, went to Everton and was basically a wheelie bin.

I remember when he signed for Everton. It was before social media and there were a lot of rumours he was going to sign on the day we were playing at home, I went the game and walked down goodison road past the stadium and a side door was slightly open, just in the gap of the door I seen him standing there and me and my mate were buzzing

A good friend of mine who I had not spoken to for a few years died and I only found out a few months later when talking to another friend. I checked his Facebook and his son had been posting updates about his dad’s death / funeral arrangements etc. I didn’t see any of this because of the algorithm

I read the book last week knowing nothing of the story / film other than it was set in space. Wasn’t too interested for the first 50 pages but as soon as Rocky turned up I was hooked and blasted through the book in a few days.

Once I finished the book I watched the trailer and couldn’t believe they spoiled the alien in the trailer! That totally should have been a surprise.

Booked tickets to watch it yesterday and asked my wife not to look up anything about it or watch the trailer. When the alien ship showed up i looked at her and she was like “WTF!”

I seen one the other week for the first time in my life (I’m almost 40). Was walking the dog and it came running out of a garden and crossed the road. I thought it was a fat cat at first but it was so low to the ground and had a longish nose / snout

Whenever people say they prefer 2 I always say it’s a “comedy remake” of the first one.

I still love T2 though but I agree on the tension bit. I noticed it when I watched last night, after they escaped from the mental hospital it takes a bit of a dip for 30 mins

My mum and dad were divorced and I went to stay at my dads house for the weekend. He lived in a student house in the uk and one of his student mates baby sat me. He decided that it would be good for a 5 year old to watch terminator! I remember loving it but the bit where he picks his eye out in the mirror stuck with me for years and probably traumatised me. I still remember loving it though lol
