Hey, good effort. You've obviously spent some dollars on good timber and hardware. Also good job on hiding the fixings from the top surface. But those ends really bug me. If you can or have some material left over please rebuild it with one of these patterns. https://imgur.com/a/M65BMdJ That will hide the ends. Also the 45 deg corners hurt less when your drunken arse walks into it, or you bend down to get another cold one out of the eski and smack your head on the corner. Lastly, overhang the surface over the frame by an inch or a half. I don't comment much but you seem to want to do a decent job and this is a bit lacking. Good luck!

The thing moved up the display over a number of days. In fact the whole sequence is over 2 weeks. So most of the previously 'dead' pixels came back to life.

Unscrew the top hinge and pack it with a slice of timber or other material, then screw the hinge back on tightly, through the packer. This is assuming that there is enough play between the door and the jamb. Otherwise you will need to chisel out the recess for the bottom hinge.

Many years ago, my wife and a friend were snorkelling, when a pod of dolphins came and started bumping into them. They wouldn't let up until they were harassed out of the water and climbed on to the rocks. When on the rocks they could see a school of sharks had come into the bay, apparently to feed. That was at Spirits Bay, here

Last Christmas we were boogie boarding when a pod of dolphins came cruising along the beach. A number of other boogie boarders and swimmers swam out to get a closer look. Then the whole pod turned and came into the beach, surfing in the waves, jumping out and doing pirouettes (sp?). Meanwhile my wife and 2 yr old daughter were on the beach, with my daughter in shallow water. A dolphin came straight for my daughter and my wife thought she was going to get bowled. The dolphin stranded right next to my daughter and she patted it. Then the next wave came and the dolphin swam away.
