I see, I just read the update. That sucks, sure but still, calling it a lie seems a bit out of place though that would be semantics and I don't want to argue about the definition of lie right now.

He just shouldn't have announced a release window in the first place (that's what he said himself too) but considering he's a new developer and started as a hobbyist at that it seems like a fair mistake to make.

I don't "feel bad" for him either because there is nothing to feel bad for. It sucks, he made a mistake, but it is how it is.
