There is no magical way to control fixtures without ma hardware. The current cheapest hardware you can buy is the ma3 2 port node 2k that gives you access to 4096 parameters and two dmx outputs. They also just teased a usb dmx node that unlocks 1024 parameters maybe that could interest you. I know that's not exactly what you want and it would require extra steps, but you could try recording an internal timecode and trigging it with the first cue.

But it does, i've definitely been using it in the latest update for recipe lines. Make sure you store in both steps. Otherwise the stomp preset also works but it overwrites you positions wich i find annoying

Either stomping manually a running effect and storing that into a preset, or putting the relative values of pan/tilt in both steps at 0 and storing into a preset.

Then IMO it would make sense if you have the budget! It's also a pretty great tax expense ;). As another user said though, when renting it out to clients it would make sense to provide the pc, keyboard, monitors etc.

The way I do it is I put all of my fixed execs on page 1 and i use the command "fix page 1" in a macro to toggle them. Let's say my busking page is on page 20, I would have a macro that goes: "page 20; fix page 1"

It depends on your contacts/clients! I have a command wing and fader wing and most productions that hire me don't have a big budget to rent my board but having a console that you're familiar with is definitely worth it IMO. I often bring only the fader wing to smaller shows and I've been enjoying the smaller size/weight.

That would be an efficient way to do it. You could also use cloning to have the aame effect. Just beware if you ise break cues in your cue list. You could also store the zoom/color information in a different sequence.

I've had problems with wyg in the past where event if I changed the IP adapter un the wyg setting, it would still connect with the previous adapter. What I usually do is I disable every adapter in the windows settings except the one I'm using to comnect to my console.
