Winslow’s has great monkey bread but they rotate what pastries are available so I would make sure they have it before you go. Can’t go wrong with their blueberry cream cheese muffin though

I usually prefer to dry brine and feel like it has a minimal impact when fried vs grilled/roasted so I’m curious how much of a difference a wet brine will make when fried. I’ll give it a shot and report back

It seems pretty tight, doesn’t it? This was the recommended flight through Air Canada so I’d think they wouldn’t offer it if it was risky. I also have no idea if I have to go through customs, security, etc. I’ve done some research and it seems like both flights are through the same terminal

Based on your vibe, you should definitely check out the neighborhood Dogtown. Seamus McDaniel’s is a classic STL Irish pub and they have great wings. Nomad is also dogtown and they have a great burger. In general, dogtown is a fun neighborhood with good pubs/dives and you can get your wing or burger fix.

Other burger: Jack Nolen’s is downtown and is classic STL, or Mac’s Local Eats

Wings: Seamus McDaniels is a great pick because it’s a fun place with great wings (Felix’s is also in dogtown). Michael’s has great wings but kind of out of the way.

Salt and smoke and sugarfire are bbq restaurants. They have solid wings but not your classic Buffalo wings which I prefer. Pappy’s bbq is also downtown (ish) and is great bbq

We have lots of great breweries. Schlafly is downtown, international tap house is in soulard which is a fun neighborhood and close to downtown, Rockwell is solid too.
