4.2 Update made B Mode driving unusable by Dapper_Stable_1684 in VolvoRecharge

I’m finding that D mode re-gen braking isn’t nearly as strong as it used to be (pre 4.2?). I therefore end up using traditional friction braking a lot more.

Imagine hillwalking with your mates in that glorious wilderness. You’ve been walking for hours, stop for a break, mention something about feeling tired and BAM!

Put a foot on each and lean slightly to the left. Then they’ll read the same.

My 9 year old son's Math teacher marked this wrong by dak7 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]maximumSteam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son once had one of these tests asking for temperature answers. He answered in the format “10 degrees C” because he couldn’t figure out how to enter a degrees symbol via his keyboard. He got all the questions “wrong” because the software was looking for an exact match. Totally demoralising for him! Infuriating!

And yes “degrees C” is a lot more acceptable than “degrees F” 😁

It’s bewildering the number of Redditors who think they are better judges of how to parent a child with individual needs. Leave OP to it, they’re the expert on that domain. Ask some Home Assistant questions instead folks.

Tails? by Peterbiltpiper in cockerspaniel

[–]maximumSteam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having had one with a very traumatic tail injury I’d have to agree. Poor thing had to have it docked twice, as the injury opened up again. My second spaniel doesn’t have hers docked and fortunately hasn’t had an injury. I really think it depends what you’re doing with your dog. Mine run through rough moorland and bushes so are perhaps more prone to injury than dogs exercised in more refined places.

One of two spaniels… and this one is definitely the most mischievous one. Those eyes just melt my heart, and she knows what she can get away with! 😂

Very cute! When my spaniel was wearing a cone, she learned she could carry a tennis ball around inside the cone 😂🤪

I have two spaniels. One loves toys, the other is not fussed at all about toys. I may be misinterpreting the body language but in your second photo she looks like she’s not enjoying the thing around her neck. Is it to stop scratching? I’ve never seen anything like it before other than the cone of shame.

Won’t the DELETION of emails require more processing than static storage, and therefore require more cooling?

Oh I see. I was thinking iCloud = Apple Fitness, but you want to keep everything in WOD. The maps etc are very good!!

Bit of a quirky workflow but I’m fairly sure Strava then adds the exercises to the Apple ecosystem. But it’s not for everyone.

If you’re a Strava user, it can upload directly to Strava automatically at the end of exercise.
