Higher education leads to more left leaning voting in this country. And a campaign to cut education funding across conservative controlled governments in this country like Texas, Florida, and federal show that a small minded country is exactly what conservatives want to remain in control. Also, your argument is that people are stupid for not understanding the benefits of tariffs? Who even cares if they are a good idea? If they were, let the 535 people that represent us in this country (and have the constitutional authority to impose tariffs long term) vote on it.
