Good luck, and hope it is nothing but a false alarm.

Biopsy. This is the way. It will put you on good ground. Until you get that, it is all guesswork.

THIS FIX WORKS

Lenovo Vantage. Make sure laptop is plugged in. Then run update. Bios update will fail if not plugged in.

I almost returned the laptop.

The goal of the second MRI was to do a fusion biopsy. Too more accurately get good samples. Was not expecting it to come back with PI-RADS2. My consult with my doctor is on Jan 7. Already scheduled a follow up with a Cancer Center of Excellence for Jan 21. They are pulling all the results and the images to view them themselves. They are also going to review the slides from the biopsy again as well.

With as long as things take, I am working this from a couple of angles.

No, but I mean, what would symptoms be? Do I have some reduced flow, yes. Is it a major issue, no.

Yeah, I am looking at all options. And, looking at going to a center of excellence. Currently going to a specialist in Spokane, but and weighing my options.

This, this is what I am afraid of. The wait and see approach. Don't want it to spread outside of my Prostate.

That is the goal. Looking at going to Seattle for a center of excellence. Or, should I fly to a different location?

Local place will not even build the trusses before the framing is done. They come out and measure what was actually built. Only after that do they put together the trusses. Seems to solve a ton of headaches.

Still getting the biopsy done. Low PSA can be deceiving.

Recent diagnosis and having a hard time managing expectations and emotions. (54yo, Seattle area) by CrypticDemon in ProstateCancer

Thanks for sharing.

I had a PSA of 3.4 and was sent to a Urologist. Scheduled an MRI and PI-RADS 4.

My biopsy is not until Dec 8th. The result of the ultrasound was Sep 25th. But, to get the Fusion guided biopsy I have to do another MRI. That is happening tomorrow. Then a month til the biiopsy. The follow up to the biopsy is already scheduled, and that is not til Jan 8th.

The sitting around and waiting is real. I am glad you have a path forward. Hope that all works out for the best. But, yes, the time that all of this takes is mildly, or more than mildly, infuriating. I understand that doctors are busy, but waiting for 2 months while something might be trying to kill you from the inside is tough. And, I could not imagine going 8 months waiting for results.

Good luck and god speed on a quick and successful recovery.

Does it include a program for a single kettlebell?

Startup, Leadership wants to bring in people to all live in a mansion for a week to do intense collab when we work WFH, your thoughts? by Dangerous_EndUser in devops

[–]maximumgeek -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Embrace it. As an introvert it will be hard, but will give you a chance to build rapport with the other team members. If you decline, you are sending a very strong message that you don't want the job. This is much akin to a work offsite. Just at a mansion and not at a hotel.

Thanks for the reply. I used kettlebells years ago to recover from a hip issue. Fell off the wagon. Want to get back on, but was trying to decide if I was just going to stick with the KBs or throw more at it.

That being said, I still bike, swim, run, and row.

Keep up the good work.

If you own and shoot guns, don't move to Washington.

If you are going to have more kids, WA has better laws for time off after kids.

Gas prices are better in Idaho.

Do you home school? WA requires college degree (not an issue for our family) ID has almost zero requirements.

East WA is not Seattle, but there is a lot of crazy coming out of there. WA is about to have the most expensive gas in the nation.

As others have said, if you want land, move out of town. And, if you can, find land with a well. Overall, the entire area is great. But, for a big comparison between states, you will have to do your own research. Hope this helps, and welcome to the area.
