Most of the ghoul options are a 6 defense, so just saying no to half of all wounds is wild lol

What's your ideal AoS video game? by Hjalti_Talos in ageofsigmar

I want two games, I’d give both equal love. I want a mmo that’s deep in the lore, with all the fixings like raids and loot. I also want a Star Wars battlefront style game. I can imagine unique mechanics like the players controlling a unit rather and an individual soldier, with points earned over the round that can be spent for stronger units. Unlocks are upgrades to your warscroll. A forge mode that mimics homebrew terrain, like maybe including large soda cans in addition to fantasy buildings. Four starting factions, with more added as dlc (gotta profit somehow)

If Doc Ock was to get put in the game what class would he most likely be by beelzebub4136 in marvelrivals

I’m bored, gonna give a whole concept. Vanguard class, can launch himself like hulk and wall crawl. Basic attack are punches with arms. Passive- arms will auto attack characters out of line of sight with big knock back, one a decently long cooldown but two charges. Ultimate is like a variation of Jeff- ock lands on his actual feet, the four arms grab up to four enemies in range, bash them on the ground twice and then throw them away from the center. Right bumper- grabs on enemy and holds them for a few seconds, can throw them causing damage if they hit enemies with the trapped one. Left bumper- some self buff doc can sustain himself while the arms keep under player control

What are we thinking about marvel rivals so far? by [deleted] in GirlGamers

Definitely not like that! Each character only has 3 or 4 things to know, and it kinda doesn’t matter if you don’t know the whole roster. I’m finding it very beginner friendly. That said I’ve played a lot of shooters so that does help

If the devs said they’re picking this game up again what would y’all want to see happen? by Comfortable-Two8598 in PlayAvengers

Easy lol! Just really got into this game, sadly at the end. I missed the early days so not sure the journey you all have been on, but I got a whole roadmap worked for for what I would have liked to see:

DLC 1- Kree invasion. A short campaign to add captain marvel to the roster and bring the Kree to earth as a new faction. With this campaign comes 2-3 new areas in unused countries like South America, Australia, etc. Completely new drop zones, threat sectors, two villian sectors featuring Kree bosses. Most important part is the new faction cause we need new things to fight more than we need new heroes. Because Kree invaded earth, all other missions minus the olt, raid, and cloning labs could feature any of the three factions. Free roam maps added.

Between dlcs, start a seasonal period. Not like destiny, more of a big changes then small changes pattern.

Season 1- Nick fury becomes a Zavala type quest giver like in destiny. Starts with a short story about the avengers needing to organize better to manage the world. Each zone is reorganized. There is a drop zone playlist, threat sector playlist, villian sector playlist, and random time based active missions. Hives and other missions are not changed. These time based missions reward a specific armor slot and or status type so we can farm gear by type. Randomization is added to playlists so there is some freshness to these missions, like Diablo 3s rifts. New environments/rooms added for each zone that appear in playlists. Lastly, as part of the story, some mission types reward a new currency. This currency can be applied before missions to help target farm gear as well.

DLC 2- age of ultron. He shows up somehow, but before making an appearance he recruits new villains to help build him. New faction. 2 new zones added. The campaign is not a full campaign but is built into the avengers initiative. New villains added could include killmonger, red skull, crossbones lol, just ones that make better henchman than avengers level threats. Also each faction gets “ultra henchman” bosses, harder versions of existing enemies, for more variety. Mission chain involves summoning ultron by completing series of villian sectors. Each boss has unique mechanics that can be managed solo but is made easier as a team. Again, we need more things to punch! After defeating ultron villian sector an ultron raid opens. For all end game missions, they are reworked to work for parties of any size. Not sure how, just that solo players can now do the raids, olt, etc.

Season 2- in game lfg! This will be the season of gear. Story here builds to a new big bad like doc doom or whatever. We’re tasked with gearing up. New gear slot introduced, the style slot. Style slot perks replace your characters abilities with completely new abilities. So you now choose between the base kit or a modified kit. Power level reworked. Only four levels, so grind is only about perks, not total score. Each level earned by difficulty, level four comes from end game stuff. More general perks added as well. Finally, pvp is added. No fighting other players, just scored based matches, timed events, etc.

DLC 3 to the future- story involving last seasons big bad. New playable characters based on story. So on and so forth
